If you’ve kept up to date with Darksiders articles, then you’ll have seen this one coming! After this long you should have all the Abyssal Armor for all the Darksiders games that pre-empted Genesis. This is the first half of the final instalment of the Abyssal Armor locations. First up, here’s all of the Abyssal Armor locations in Darksiders Genesis for Strife!
The first piece of armor can be found in the Icebind Cavern.
You’ll need to unlock the gate by using Aether Spark to place a ball on your side of the gate, use Vorpal Blade to unlock a side gate and finally use Aether Spark again to place a ball on the other side of the gate, consequently unlocking it.
When you get in you’ll see a chest shaped like a head. Open it up and there’s your first piece!
The next piece is located in the bottom left of The Mire.
Soon before you get there you’ll have to jump up pillars to cross to the other side of the cavern and defeat several small enemies.
You’ll know you’re in the right place when you see a larger enemy, but he’s pretty easy to defeat so just go for it! The chest is in the same place as the larger enemy.
Abyssal Armor location number 3 is at Bastion’s Fall.
Use Vorpal Blade to hit the crystal, jump down the small cliff, and use Void Bomb to make portals at the directed spots.
Use Aether Spark to throw a ball through the portal closest to the waterfall, then follow the route to unlock the boost up the waterfall. There’s your chest!
The next piece is located in the Dredge Works. You need to travel via the pull-y system to where you see the crystal. Use Vorpal Blade to hit the crystal and then grapple hook over the next area.
Climb up to the top area and follow the route around until you hit the rocky cliffs. You’ll come across an opportunity to create portals using the Void Bomb so go ahead and do that. Jump in and you’ll be thrust in the ear, you’ll need to hit another crystal with Vorpal Blade while you’re in the air so prepare for that!
Ride across the sandy road that’s at the top of the Dredge Works until you hit a stone wall. When you reach it it should open and reveal the chest!
The fifth and final piece to collect can be found at Void Trickster Door. This is without a doubt the hardest piece to obtain, but if you’ve managed this far then you can handle this!
Most of this area is just following the natural route around the broken stone paths. You’ll have to use an array of Void Bombs, Vorpal Blades, and Aether Sparks to get across the terrain.
One area that might be specifically difficult is when you have to fly across very small sections. Basically you’ll need to aim towards the bottom of your screen until you see a green glowing item. That’s the platform you need!
You’ll eventually come across a door and you’ll find the chest in that area.
Hopefully that last trip wasn’t too difficult and you’ve managed to find all of the Abyssal Armor locations in Darksiders Genesis for Strife! Let us know how you got in the comments below!
