All The Tasks In The Skeld In Among Us

Despite becoming popular quite a while ago now, Among Us is still one of the top games to play with your friends. Since it’s still going, we figured there may be some people who are only now creeping out of their hole to start playing it for the first time… If so, don’t worry! This is a guide to all the tasks in The Skeld in Among Us. 

The Skeld is the most popular map, especially for you newbies out there. This guide is going to really help you out since it’s important to know where the tasks are that you’re required to do. Also, it’s handy to know where the tasks are and what the tasks are in case you get Imposter! Knowing your tasks may keep you being sussed out… So let’s get to tasks! 

Admin Tasks

In admin there are 3 tasks. 

First, there’s Swipe Card. You’ll have to swipe some sort of ID in a card reader but it won’t register if you go too fast or too slow, so find that sweet spot! 

Secondly, there’s Fix Wires. This one’s fairly easy as you’ll just have to match the wires to the same colour on the other side. 

Finally, you have Upload Data From. There’s a few spots around the map with download data that you’ll have to upload in Admin. Unfortunately this takes a while so you do risk death every time! 

Cafeteria Tasks

There’s another 3 tasks in Cafeteria that aren’t too different from Admin. 

You have your Fix Wires and Upload Data From in here, where you do the same things you do in Admin. 

You also have Empty Garbage though. On this one you have to click a switch and then hold down a lever until it tells you that the garbage is gone. If you don’t do it long enough it won’t register that you’ve done it so make sure you do it right the first time! 

Communications

There’s only one task in Communications luckily! 

It’s just another Upload Data From so you already know the drill. Just be careful in here because it’s a common kill spot since no one usually visits! 

Electrical Tasks

There’s another 3 tasks here but it’s also a common kill point due to the vent in the this room so beware! 

Yet another Upload Data From is in here.

There’s a task called Calibrate Distributor. Here you have to line up the three rectangles spinning around the coloured circles. I always have to try 2 or 3 times to get this one right but you may find it easier! 

There’s also a Divert Power To in here. This is where you flip a switch that isn’t turned on and find the other panel elsewhere in the map to match it. A yellow arrow will appear to direct you!

Engines

Each engine has only one task to do. 

This is Align Engine Output where you have to align something that looks like a computer mouse to the line in the middle of the screen. 

Medbay Tasks

This one is pretty important if you’re being sussed and you’re not the imposter. 

The important task is Submit Scan. People can see you do this task so don’t try and fake it if you’re the imposter. But if you’re not then it’s a good way to prove to people you’re safe! 

The other task in this room is Inspect Sample, you’ll have to follow button prompts and then wait 60 seconds so it’s a good idea to go and do one of your other quick tasks in this time. Come back after 60 seconds and select the sample that’s different from the rest! 

Navigation Tasks

There’s actually 4 tasks in this room so you’re likely to come across quite a few of your crewmates in this room! 

First there’s Fix Wires, which you must be used to by now. 

Then there’s Upload Data, another one that you must be sick of hearing about. 

It gets interesting here with Chart Course. I personally hate this one. You have to drag a miniature ship along a zig-zag line but it’s harder than you think! 

Finally, there’s Stabilize Steering. You have to select the crosshair target in the middle of the screen to complete this task. 

O2 Tasks

There’s only 2 tasks in this room but I always end up seeing everyone here.

One is Empty Chute where you simply pull a lever, the accompanying task to this is in Storage. 

The second task is Clean O2 Filter. This one is satisfying and annoying at the same time. There are leaves in the filter that you just have to drag into this hole but they’re in anti-gravity so it’s a little laggy. 

Reactor Tasks

Another room where there’s only 2 tasks! 

There’s Unlock Manifolds which is kind of annoying but you just have to select the numbers 1-10 in order. 

And then there’s Start Reactor which is basically a memory test. Sorry to those with poor memory! 

Security

There’s no common tasks here but sometimes you have to Divert The Power Back from here. 

Shields Tasks

This is another spot to be careful in because there’s a vent right behind the task so it’s easy for an Imposter to get a quick kill! 

The one and only task in here is Prime Shields where you have to select each of the red hexagons. 

Storage

There’s only one task but its long. 

Fuel Engines requires you to take a Gas Can and fill it in storage, take it to either Upper Engine or Lower Engine, go back to storage to fill the can again, and then take it to the Engine you didn’t go to the first time. At least you get a little scenery! 

Weapons Tasks

I actually really enjoy the task in here, it’s strangely fun!

Clear Asteroids is basically what it says on the tin. You open up the task and click on the asteroids to destroy them. You do risk being killed in here though, so it’s a bit of a thriller! 

So there’s all the tasks in The Skeld in Among Us! Hopefully now you have those memorised you should be able to get your tasks done a lot quicker or if you’re Imposter you’ll be able to fool your friends a lot easier! Either way, not knowing them? It makes you look kinda sus…
