Animal Crossing: New Horizons Glitch!

This new Animal Crossing: New Horizons glitch means you can head inside of things you shouldn’t normally be able to! Some of the ways people have used this includes heading inside pools, rides, and even the little rivers. 

Before this handy glitch you could swim but only if wearing a wetsuit and only in the ocean. These days, it’s possible to glitch your way into the twining rivers that lace your island. My personal favourite use of this is when you incorporate it in with the giant teddy bear you can sit with him and it looks like a nice little cuddle! 

How To Do The Animal Crossing: New Horizon Glitch

I know you’re just waiting for me to get the good stuff, so here’s how you can execute this glitch on your own island haven. It’s super simple so make sure to give it a try:

Step 1

Place a flat item, such as an unfinished puzzle piece, on a rounded corner of a raised part of your island. 

Step 2

Grab your ladder and “climb” up that item. 

You’re now technically above ground level and can walk in and through items to get to rivers and into carrousels! I told you it was easy.

If you have tried this, or seen it, you’ll probably have noticed how weirdly natural it looks for something that’s not supposed to happen. Our usual experience with exploiting glitches is when you do something against the games’ physics in something like Skyrim where the character just runs on the spot. One theory for the strange accommodation for the glitch is that Nintendo may actually be working on adding this function into the game for real. 

The theory isn’t really a long shot considering the mobile game, Animal Crossing: Pocket Edition, already lets you use the items in the game. So here’s hoping this new Animal Crossing: New Horizons glitch makes it to the game permanently!
