Daily Tasks To Do In Animal Crossing: New Horizons
As some may now know, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is an AMAZING game with so much potential and limitless opportunities. Only problem, however, is keeping up with it all! That’s why this handy guide on all the daily tasks to do in Animal Crossing: New Horizons should help you out a bunch!
Channel Your Inner Ross Geller
I’m certain I can’t be the only ACNHs player that also loves Friends, but just in case I am, Ross Geller is known for constantly pointing out that he is a paleontologist. So what I’m trying to say is check your island for fossils! Typically there will be 4 fossils scattered around your island so try and find them all and get Blathers to check them out. You’ll either end up bettering your island’s culture (as Dr. B himself would put it) or you’ll get a decent amount of bells!
Shake, Shake, Shake!
Shake your fruity! Joking aside, shaking the fruit off of your trees everyday can be a great source of income. Every three days your trees will grow more fruit so although it’s not daily, you should definitely do it every time! A small tip I’d also like to share here is to save at least 10 pieces of fruit from every harvest and put it in your inventory. After a while you should have quite the collection and it could help you out when you need to deroot some trees or clobber some stone!
Johnny-On-The-Spot
What’s worse than shaking a tree and bees coming after you? A horrible neighbour. So don’t be one! Make sure to chat with your villagers every day to make sure they’re having as much of a good time in ACNH as you are. That is, unless you want them gone. If you decide a certain villager isn’t matching the vibe of your island you can banish them! Just don’t talk to them and make daily complaints with Isabelle. After a while, they should have a thought bubble appear and you can tell them to leave!
Get That Miles!
Nook Miles is one of the ways to pay for things in ACNH so it’s very important you get what you can when you can! One of the great ways of collecting miles is checking in at the Nook Stop in Resident Services/Town Hall. Checking in every day earns you daily bonus miles with 7 days + being 300! All you need to do is access it and there it is!
Bell Of Money
Another way of paying for things in ACNH is with bells of course! You can set yourself up for a fortune by looking for buried bells. If you gig up the bells and re-bury them a money tree will grow! The bells you dug up in the first place are with 1000 but if you plant the tree you’ll get 3000. It’s worth the investment! Money trees take 4 days to grow but you’ll find a shiny spot on the ground (where the bells are) every day.
She Sells Sea Shells On The Sea Shore
If you like long walks on the beach then you’re in luck! It’s one of the daily tasks you should definitely get up to in ACNH. Walking along the shore will provide you with an array of goodies! Not only will you snag some sea shells that will sell for a pretty penny, you should also find a message bottle every day. The message bottle will contain a DIY recipe which you can either learn, sell (if you already have it), or give it to a friend (if you already have it)! You could also find a wanderer on the shore such as Gulliver or Gullivarrr, helping them will find you some rewards!
We’ve Got One!!
As well as talking to your villagers every day you should also look around for visitors and make sure to talk to them! If you have a campsite open you should check those people out as they may join your island. You should also keep an eye out for wandering merchants like Saharah who sells home decor, Redd who sells paintings, Celeste who can give you recipes for Star Fragments, and there’s still a few more!
That’s all the daily tasks to do in Animal Crossing: New Horizons which should help you keep your island running smoothly! There’s of course a few extra things that would be good to do daily such as collect all the wood from every tree every day and mine every stone on your island because that would be great for future supplies but that’s up to you! Now go get K.K. Slider to your island if you haven’t already, and let us know how this guide has helped you get there!
