Dead Island 2 ITEM DUPLICATION Glitch

Sometimes you find a weapon in Dead Island that you really love smashing zombies to bits with. And sometimes you start to think ‘I wish I had another of these things!’ Well, look no further as this guide will talk you through just how to do that! This is our Dead Island 2 Item Duplication glitch.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Secondly, you’re going to obviously need the item you wish to duplicate in your inventory.

Step 1

So, if you’re the person duping, you’ll want to join your friend’s session; you can do this from the handy ‘join game’ menu at the main menu!

Step 2

Once in your friend’s game, go into your inventory, drop your weapon, but DO NOT leave the menu here. Just hard quit the game using the console or PC controls. Don’t use the game menu to quit because it’ll save the section where you dropped a weapon.
Also, make sure your friend doesn’t pick up your weapon, this will ruin the glitch, but more importantly… your friendship. So make sure it’s someone you trust, again, our discord has trustworthy people if you’re still looking for someone.

Step 3

Now you’re at your desktop or the console menu, load back into the game, and then join your friends game again

Step 4

Look in your inventory and your weapon is still there! As long as your trustworthy friend IS a good friend, your weapon will be on the floor too.

Step 5

Pick your weapon up, and wait for the game to save. The game remembers you have two of that weapon now, and you can force a save by going in and out of the menu.

Step 6

Rinse, and repeat as many times as you like for extra weapons to continue the zombie bashing. Check out the video below for more info:
