How To Do The Half Life: Alyx Unlimited Ammo Exploit!

Step 1

Throughout the game, you’ll encounter plenty of gates that will require you to shoot the padlocks off to grant you access. What if, however, you simply have no ammo to get past? If you find yourself in this situation, the game will spawn a magazine somewhere to help you. This can be exploited. Firstly, get to one of these sections in the game where the only way ahead is to shoot a lock off a gate.

Step 2

Now, rid yourself of ammo. Empty all the bullets you have so that you have no ammo at all, including ammo stored in your backpack. The game will spawn you a magazine nearby. Find it, pick it up in your hand and take it to the padlocked gate.

Step 3

Now, you’ll need to continuously drop and pick up the magazine. As long as your backpack is empty, the game will register that you have no ammo, and consequently keep providing you with more. Head back to the ammo spawn point and loads of magazines will have piled up! You can rinse and repeat this method as much or little as you want. If you have the time, you could even max out the 100 magazine capacity of your backpack!
