Obviously, with a new patch right around the corner, it’s time for a Genshin Impact guide on how to prepare for Zhongli in patch 1.1!

Zhongli is a Geo polearm user who you may have encountered during the main story of Genshin Impact. Indeed, there has been a lot of rumours surrounding him being the star of the next character banner. Furthermore, with the confirmation of his release in 1.1, the odds of the rumoured banner being true have just increased by a lot. 

Without a doubt, we know that you will be able to wish for Zhongli come patch 1.1. If you’re like me and are super excited for this character then you may want to get ready to upgrade him when he drops. So, let’s prepare for Zhongli!

Talent Levelling Materials

Initially, talent level 1 to 2 requires 3 Teachings of Gold and 6 Slime Condensate

• Importantly, Teachings of Gold can be farmed from the Taishan Mansion Domain every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.

• It should also be noted that Slime Condensate can be farmed from any Slime.

Talent levels 2 to 6  you will require Guide to Gold and Slime Secretions.

• Guide to Gold can be farmed from Taishan Mansion II Domain every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.

Subsequently, Guide to Gold  can also be crafted via Alchemy for 3 Teachings of Gold.

• Slime Secretions can be farmed from Slimes level 40+.

Furthermore, Slime Secretions can also be crafted via Alchemy for 3 Slime Condensate.

Firstly, talent level 2 to 3 requires 3 Guide to Gold and 3 Slime Secretions.

Next, talent level 3 to 4 requires 4 Guide to Gold and 4 Slime Secretions.

Then, talent level 4 to 5 requires 6 Guide to Gold and 6 Slime Secretions.

Finally, talent level 5 to 6 requires 9 Guide to Gold and 9 Slime Secretions.

Character Ascension Materials

Without a doubt, levelling talents and character level are both equally important. So, to properly prepare for Zhongli, we are going to need a lot of materials. Luckily for you, I’ve made a helpful list below.

First Character Ascension

For your first Character Ascension, you will need 1 Prithiva Topaz Sliver, 3 Cor Lapis and 3 Slime Condensate.

• Prithiva Topaz Sliver can be farmed from Geo Hypostasis or purchased at the Souvenir Shop.

• Cor Lapis is a Liyue Local Specialty and can be found all over Liyue.

• Slime Condensate can be farmed from any Slime.

Second Character Ascension

Next, your second Character Ascension will need 3 Prithiva Topaz Fragments, 2 Basalt Pillars, 10 Cor Lapis and 15 Slime Condensate.

• Prithiva Topaz Fragments can be farmed from Geo Hypostasis Lv.40+, Wolf of the North Lv.40+ (unreliable) or crafted via Alchemy for 3 Prithiva Topaz Sliver.

• Basalt Pillars can only be farmed from Geo Hypostasis Lv.30+.

• Cor Lapis is a Liyue Local Specialty and can be found all over Liyue.

• Slime Condensate can be farmed from any Slime.

Third Character Ascension

After that, your third Character Ascension will need 6 Prithiva Topaz Fragments, 4 Basalt Pillars, 20 Cor Lapis and 12 Slime Secretions.

• Prithiva Topaz Fragments can be farmed from Geo Hypostasis Lv.40+, Wolf of the North Lv.40+ (unreliable) or crafted via Alchemy for 3 Prithiva Topaz Sliver.

• Basalt Pillars can only be farmed from Geo Hypostasis Lv.30+.

• Cor Lapis is a Liyue Local Specialty and can be found all over Liyue.

• Slime Secretions can be farmed from Slimes Lv.40+ or crafted via Alchemy for 3 Slime Condensate.

Fourth Character Ascension

Following that, your fourth Character Ascension will need 3 Prithiva Topaz Chunks, 8 Basalt Pillars, 30 Cor Lapis and 18 Slime Secretions.

• Prithiva Topaz Chunks can be farmed from Geo Hypostasis Lv.60+, Wolf of the North Lv.60+ (unreliable) or crafted via Alchemy for 3 Prithiva Topaz Fragments.

• Basalt Pillars can only be farmed from Geo Hypostasis Lv.30+.

• Cor Lapis is a Liyue Local Specialty and can be found all over Liyue.

• Slime Secretions can be farmed from Slimes Lv.40+ or crafted via Alchemy for 3 Slime Condensate.

Fifth Character Ascension

Subsequently, Your fifth Character Ascension will need 6 Prithiva Topaz Chunks, 12 Basalt Pillars, 45 Cor Lapis and 12 Slime Concentrate.

• Prithiva Topaz Chunks can be farmed from Geo Hypostasis Lv.60+, Wolf of the North Lv.60+ (unreliable) or crafted via Alchemy for 3 Prithiva Topaz Fragments.

• Basalt Pillars can only be farmed from Geo Hypostasis Lv.30+.

• Cor Lapis is a Liyue Local Specialty and can be found all over Liyue.

• Slime Concentrate can be farmed from Slimes Lv.60+ or crafted via Alchemy for 3 Slime Secretions.

Sixth Character Ascension

Finally, your sixth Character Ascension will need 6 Prithiva Topaz Gemstones, 20 Basalt Pillars, 60 Cor Lapis and 24 Slime Concentrate.

• Prithiva Topaz Gemstones can be farmed from Geo Hypostasis Lv.75+, Wolf of the North Lv.75+ or crafted via Alchemy for 3 Prithiva Topaz Chunks.

• Basalt Pillars can only be farmed from Geo Hypostasis Lv.30+.

• Cor Lapis is a Liyue Local Specialty and can be found all over Liyue.

• Slime Concentrate can be farmed from Slimes Lv.60+ or crafted via Alchemy for 3 Slime Secretions.
