Hyper Scape Revealed And Vulkan Error Explained

Hyper Scape is a new Battle Royale game to hit the scene in July. Its UI mixture of Apex Legends and Overwatch is filling the gap in the Battle Royale genre that the community has, somewhat, asked for. The game has recently opened up a beta for PC users but it does not come without struggle. Currently, there is a bug on the loading screen that is stopping players from experiencing the game in its entirety. Here we will explain the bug and also tell you how to break through it!

What is Hyper Scape?

Hyper Scape is a new Battle Royale game by Ubisoft. The same company that brought you Assassins Creed, Tom Clancy, Watch Dogs and, the Far Cry series. Due to multiple leaks, the game was not a surprise but it’s new ideas, were. Hype Scape is far from anything we’ve seen before! The game is set in a futuristic Tron themed city called Neo Arcadia where players battle it out to get the win.

What’s So Different About It?

Hyper Scape has many new, refreshing features that the competition, currently, shows no signs in using. The way to secure a victory in Hyper Scape is not quite what we’re used to as there are now two ways to win in Neo Arcadia. There’s the old fashioned way, by killing everyone till you’re the last one standing, and a newly added feature. A crown is placed somewhere near the end game and the player who obtains this crown will be awarded that sweet victory!

Another variation added to Hyper Scape are loot abilities. These abilities give players an incredible advantage when utilised. Some abilities include invisibility – a limited time cloaking device, slam – a Mario inspired ground pound, and even being able to turn yourself into a 10ft bouncing ball that wreaks havoc across the city!

But don’t just take our word for it, check out all the exciting details HERE!

What is the Vulkan Error?

The Vulkan error is one of the first bugs to be reported by the community. The error occurs the moment you launch. It is then shortly followed by an error message telling you that ‘your driver is incompatible’. If you’re one of many to experience this error, find out below how to bypass this annoying bug and finally launch the game.

The error message received upon launch

How to Fix The Vulkan Error

The most common way of fixing the Vulkan error is by updating your AMD driver. To do so you need to head over to the AMD site, select your video and download and install the latest versions. Then, restart your PC, launch the game and you should be fine.

If this doesn’t work for you, Simply verifying the games files and making sure that your windows are completely up-to-date.

Third and final attempt? If none of the two previous options work, whether it be because you use NVIDIA video card, then follow the same procedures you did with AMD. Download and install the latest software from NVIDIA here.

Hopefully, by following these steps you can now launch the game. If you find yourself still unable to play then the only next source would be to contact Ubisoft Support directly.
