I don’t know about you but completing Hollow Knight is definitely one of the harder videogaming feats! This certainly isn’t helped by just how many things there are. Well hopefully this hefty guide will help! Here’s the locations of all the charms in Hollow Knight!
It’s special effect allows it to reveal itself on the map, meaning wanderers can pinpoint their location.
This charm is located in Dirtmouth, in Iselda and Cornifer’s Shop for 220 Geo.
The swarm will follow behind you and gather Geos that you’ve left behind.
It’s located in Dirtmouth and can be bought for 300 Geo from Sly the merchant.
While recovering from damage this charm will make you invulnerable for longer.
You can also buy this charm from Sly for only 200 Geo.
It increases the amount of Soul gained from hitting an enemy with the nail.
This charm can be obtained after defeating Elder Baldur.
It increases the power of spells and therefore does more damage to foes.
The stone can be bought at the Forgotten Crossroads by the Charm Lover Salubra for 220 Geo.
Greatly increases the amount of Soul gained when striking an enemy with the nail.
The charm is at the Resting Grounds and requires Desolate Dive or Descending Dark to find.
With this charm you’ll be able to dash more often as well as downwards.
Dashmaster is found in the Fungal Wastes, South of Mantis Village and just left of the southern area Bench.
Aptly named, this charm increases the speed of the bearer.
Buy Sprintmaster from Sly for 400 Geo after acquiring the Shopkeeper’s Key.
Brings a whole new meaning to ‘no pain no gain’, Grubsong allows you to gain Soul when taking damage.
Find Grubfather with 10 grubs on you at the Forgotten Crossroads for Grubsong.
When you’re at full health they will fire beams of white-hot energy.
Find Grubfather with 46 grubs for this one. A lot to ask, but not for all the charms in Hollow Knight!
Increases the health of the bearer and grants two extra masks. It will break once you die but you can take it to Leg Eater to repair it for 200 Geo or equip Defender’s Crest to repair it for 160 Geo.
You can find it in the Fungal Wastes from Leg Eater, it costs 350 Geo or with Defender’s Crest, it costs 280 Geo.
You’ll earn more Geo when defeating enemies. It will break once you die but you can take it to Leg Eater to repair it for 200 Geo or equip Defender’s Crest to repair it for 120 Geo.
You can find it in the Fungal Wastes from Leg Eater, it costs 250 Geo or with Defender’s Crest, it costs 200 Geo.
This increases the damage you deal to enemies. It will break once you die but you can take it to Leg Eater to repair it for 350 Geo or equip Defender’s Crest to repair it for 280 Geo.
You can find it in the Fungal Wastes from Leg Eater, it costs 600 Geo or with Defender’s Crest, it costs 480 Geo.
The charm will improve the bearer’s ability to cast spells and reduces the Soul cost.
Spell Twister is found in the City of Tears, in the Northeastern part of Soul Sanctum.
Stops you from recoiling when striking an enemy.
Found at the Forgotten Crossroads from Charm Lover Salubra for 120 Geo.
Increases the force behind hits, making the enemies recoil further.
You can buy this charm at Dirtmouth from Sly for 350 Geo and requires a Shopkeeper’s Key.
Allows you to slash much faster with your nail.
You can find Quick Slash in the hidden room in Southeastern Kingdom’s Edge.
This one is great, it increases the range of the bearer’s nail, allowing you to strike from further away.
You can find Longnail at the Forgotten Crossroads from Charm Lover Salubra for 300 Geo.
This one increases the range too but much more than Longnail.
You can find this charm in the Fungal Wastes in a chest in Mantis Village, northeast of the Mantis Lords encounter and it requires victory over Mantis Lords to obtain.
When you are close to death, the charm will make your strength go back up.
You can find this one in Dirtmouth and is obtained during the intro sequence in King’s Pass but requires use of the Nail Jump technique.
When you’re taking damage with this charm you’ll sprout thorny vines that damage all enemies that are nearby.
You can find this in Greenpath in a thorny platforming area towards the center of the region and requires Mothwing Cloak.
Protects its bearer with a hard shell while focusing Soul but it will shatter when it endures enough damage.
You can find the charm in the Howling Cliffs in the southeastern section, near Greenpath.
Now you’ve got half of all the charms in Hollow Knight!
Transforms the Vengeful Spirit spell into a horde of volatile baby flukes.
Available at Royal Waterways in the southeastern region, it requires victory over Flukemarm.
This charm spawns damaging clouds around the Knight.
You can find it in the Royal Waterways in the northeastern region and requires victory over Dung Defender.
This one drains the soul of the Knight and spawns hatchlings that surround you and sacrifice themselves to protect you.
You can find this charm at the Forgotten Crossroads in the central region near False Knight, it requires Crystal Heart.
Increases the speed of focusing Soul, meaning you can heal damage faster.
Found at the Forgotten Crossroads from Charm Lover Salubra for 800 Geo.
When you equip this, you will focus Soul at a slower rate but the healing effect will be doubled.
You can find it at Crystal Peak in a hidden area below passageway to Dirtmouth and requires Crystal Heart.
When resting, you will gain a coating of lifeblood that protects from a modest amount of damage, sitting at a bench grants two temporary bonus masks.
You can find it at the Forgotten Crossroads from Charm Lover Salubra for 250 Geo.
Similar to Lifeblood Heart but the lifeblood protects from a large amount of damage and sitting at a bench grants four temporary bonus masks.
You can find this charm in The Abyss in the western region but entry to the hidden room requires you to possess 15+ Lifeblood masks via Lifeseeds, Lifeblood Heart, Joni’s Blessing, and Fragile Heart.
You’ll be able to take more damage but you won’t be able to heal yourself through focusing Soul.
You can find this charm in the Howling Cliffs in the hidden chamber in central/southern Howling Cliffs called Joni’s Repose.
You’re heading into the home stretch now, not long until you have all the charms in Hollow Knight!
This charm will heal your wounds over time meaning you don’t have to use any Soul.
You will find it in The Hive in the eastern region and requires victory over Hive Knight.
While focusing Soul you will emit a spore cloud that slowly damages enemies that approach you. It also grants you the ability to speak with Mister Mushroom.
You can find it in the Fungal Wastes in the southwestern region, south of Queen’s Station Stagway and requires Mantis Claw.
When using Shadow Dash your body will sharpen and damage enemies that come into your path.
You can find this charm in Deepnest in the southeastern corner and it requires Shade Cloak.
Unlike usual, this charm allows you to move about while focusing Soul.
You will find it at Greenpath in the Lake of Unn region and it requires Isma’s Tear.
This charm allows you to focus your power faster and unleash arts sooner.
You will find it located in Dirtmouth given to you by Sly. It is an award for collecting all Nail Arts, requiring Great Slash, Dash Slash, and Cyclone Slash.
Summons weaverlings to give you some companionship and protection.
This charm is in Deepnest in the southern/central region.
This allows you to charge the Dream Nail faster and collect more Soul when damaging enemies.
You will find it at the Resting Grounds from the Seer and requires 500 Essence.
The charm creates a shield that follows you and partially protects you.
This one is also located at the Resting Grounds but in the eastern region just south of the Seer.
You will only receive this when taking part in the Grimm Troupe’s Ritual in Dirtmouth. When wearing it you must seek the Grimmkin and collect their flames which will appear on the map. It also summons a flying creature that deals damage to enemies the degree of which scales with the number of flames you have collected.
This charm protects you from damage.
You’ll find it in Dirtmouth by speaking to Nymm after you have banished the Grimm Troupe in the Howling Cliffs. Nymm in standing next to the Dirtmouth Bench.
This charm cannot be equipped, it is a fragment of a white charm found in the Queen’s Gardens by the White Lady and it requires victory over Traitor Lord.
As with the previous fragment, it cannot be equipped.
It is found in the White Palace from the Pale King.
You will slowly absorb limitless Soul and it grants access to the Birthplace in the southern Abyss.
This charm is created once you have obtained both White Fragment charms.
You’re only one away from having all the charms in Hollow knight away from having them all!
It is a part of the Knight and cannot be equipped. Granting access to multiple endings and locks out all other endings, it also removes hostility from some enemy types.
You will find it in the western region of the Abyss called the Birthplace. It requires and replaces Kingsoul charm.
