Metal Gear Solid 5 Best GMP Farming Location

The number of upgrades for your base, weapons and arm is absolutely staggering. Just as you’d expect from a Metal Gear Solid game! Replaying missions to grind for GMP is more or less built into the game, so there are many ways to farm. Here’s the best Metal Gear Solid 5 GMP farming location we’ve found so far. Done right you can earn 10 million GMP an hour!

Develop ‘Decoy’ And The Fulton Extraction System

For this method you’ll need both of these. Any level of decoy will do, but your Fulton must be upgraded to at least Cargo level.

Drop Into Afghanistan

Drop into the landing zone just outside of Sakra Ee whilst in free roam. This isn’t essential, but will save you a lot of time.

Start Mission 8: Occupation Forces

This is where you’ll be able to rack up the most GMP in the shortest time. You’ll be asked to eliminate a colonel and his tanks. Get a little way ahead of the convoy and lay out some decoys. They stick to the road, so you’ll manage to get the drop on them.

Fulton Lift The Convoy

Sneak around the convoy, being careful to not be spotted. Once you’re behind them and they’re over the decoys, activate them. The convoy will come to a stop and you can quickly and quietly lift them, starting from the back. 30 seconds later they’ll all be on their way to mother base.

Start Back Towards The First Checkpoint

At some point on your way there you’ll be notified that all of that valuable military equipment made it back to base.

Reload The Checkpoint

Now you can begin again! The whole process should only take 3-4 minutes and yields mountains of GMP! For further details, check out the following video.
