Unlock All Characters In Hyrule Warriors Age Of Calamity

The latest Hyrule Warriors game is out, meaning a load of new characters. Hacking and slashing your way through an endless supply of baddies is fun, whatever the occasion, but throw in some Zelda themed carnage and it ramps up to 11. So, hold tight to your Hylian Shield, here’s how to unlock all characters in Hyrule Warriors Age Of Calamity!

Unlocked Through The Story

The majority of characters in the game are unlocked by playing through the campaign, as detailed below.

Link – Unlocked as the game begins

Impa – Unlocked after completing Chapter 1, Level 1, the Batte of Hyrule Field

Zelda – Unlocked after completing Chapter 1, Level 2, Road to the Ancient Lab

Mipha – Unlocked after completing Chapter 2, Level 1, Mipha the Zora Princess

Daruk – Unlocked after Completing Chapter 2, Level 2, Daruk the Goron Hero

Revali – Unlocked after completing Chapter 2, Level 3, Revali the Rito Warrior

Urbosa – Unlocked after completing Chapter 2, Level 4, Urbosa the Gerudo Chief

Hestu – Unlocked after completing Chapter 3, Freeing the Korok Forest

Sidon – Unlocked after completing Chapter 5, Level 1, Water and Fire

Yunobo – Also Unlocked on completion of Water and Fire

Teba – Unlocked after completing Chapter 5, Level 3, Air and Lightning

Riju – Also unlocked on completing Air and Lightning

Master Kohga – Unlocked after completing Chapter 6, Level 2, Each Step Like Thunder

King Rhoam – Unlocked after completing Chapter 7, Level 1, The Great Plateau

Unlocked Through Challenges

Great Fairies– After Chapter 4, Level 1, Akkala Tower, a side quest will open up. The quest is titled Offering Help on the Road and will appear in the Gerudo Desert. Complete the three challenges that appear on the map and then one more to finish the questline. This will unlock the Great Fairies.

Monk Maz Koshia – After Chapter 4, level 2, Destroy the Yiga Clan! A side quest will open in the Gerudo desert. The quest is called a Trial of Monsters completing this quest will lead to 2 more and finally a showdown with the monk. Defeat him to add him to your roster.

Terrako – After completing the game, new side quests will unlock. Most of these revolve around collecting Terrako’s parts. Once you have all of them, he’ll be added to your roster.

Calamity Ganon – This is the last character you’re able to unlock. Once you’ve rebuilt Terrako a new series of side quests will pop up. One of these is Versus Calamity Ganon in the Lanayru district. This is a very hard challenge, you have to defeat Astor, Harbinger Ganon and Calamity Ganon in under 12 minutes. Defeat him and he joins the roster.
