Call of Duty: Warzone: What’s New In Season 4?

It’s. Finally. Here! After being delayed (for the right reasons,) players are finally getting stuck in to the highly anticipated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 4.

How big is Season 4?

The update is between 30gb and 45gb on all platforms, but once downloaded, due to a lot of the components being compressed, it will only take up around 4gb of storage.
It’s worth mentioning that some Xbox One users are experiencing a glitch that states the update is upwards of 84gb. Infinity Ward has acknowledged this and are working on a fix.

  • PlayStation 4: 32.5GB
  • Xbox One: 44.4GB
  • PC: 39.6GB

Whats new in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4?

We have a plethora of new content on day one of Season 4, from new weapons to new in-game events.

In-Game Events

Jail Break: When a ‘Jail Break’ event happens on Warzone, all players in the Gulag, whether they’re waiting for their 1v1 or have recently been ‘slotted’ will be released into the wild, ready for another chance at getting the coveted Dub!
The Jail Break event can randomly occur at any time during a game of Warzone. But once the Gulag is closed, you’ve most likely lost your chance.

Fire Sale: Every CoD Zombies players knows what this means! For the uninitiated, the ‘Fire Sale’ event means BIG discounts on everything at the buy station. Players can nab themselves killstreaks and ammo for up to 80% off, or sometimes… FOR FREE!
Side note: Loadout drops aren’t discounted during a Fire Sale, and the event only lasts 60 seconds so be prepared for a fight!

Supply Chopper: This one is pretty self explanatory! A non-lethal, but heavily armoured helicopter will make it’s way into Vedansk, whichever team downs it, gets all of the goodies inside.
At minimum the choppers contain:

  • 3x UAVS
  • 2x armor boxes
  • 2x munitions boxes
  • 1x gas mask
  • 1x grenade launcher
  • a ridiculous amount of Cash

Weapons

CR-56 Amax (Assault Rifle): Basically the fan favourite Galil, this gun can be acquired after reaching tier 31 of the Season 4 Battle Pass. It’s available for the free and paid version of the Battle Pass.

Fennec (SMG): Another homage to a weapon from a previous Call of Duty, the Fennec is essentially a pimped out Vector. This tough little SMG can be picked up at tier 15 in the paid and free version of the Season 4 Battle Pass.

Kali Sticks (Dual Melee): Players can unlock these by getting 3 kills with the combat knife while sliding, in 15 different matches, so if you don’t have multiplayer, now’s the time to get it!
