How To Get All The Costumes In Costume Quest 2

As you know, we’re all about collecting each and every thing you can in every game! Funnily enough what you need in this game is in the name. So, here’s how to get all the costumes in Costume Quest 2. 

Costume 1: Candy Corn

The first costume is in Everett’s House in The Future. You’ll realise straight away how limited this costume is because the character who has it equipped won’t really do anything. The Candy Corn can only block but that can be used to your advantage if you play it well!

Costume 2: Superhero

The Superhero costume is also in Everett’s House! It’s a great costume because it deals a good amount of damage throughout the game. It can also hit all enemies at once which I’m sure you won’t pass on! Something that definitely comes in handy later in the game, is that Superheroes are good at deflecting damage.

Costume 3: Clown

The Clown costume is in the Lower Bayou in The Past. It’s a brilliant attacking costume and it has enough strength to withstand some hefty attacks! There is one setback, however, it’s difficult to time the attacks of Clown. You can manage it though! Just focus on the targeting reticule rather than the Clown. 

Costume 4: Pterodactyl 

The Pterodactyl costume is also in the Lower Bayou. It’s the second costume you’ll receive that is for attacking and is fairly decent at it! It’s not particularly skilled at fending off attacks from enemies so make sure you have it well defended when it’s in play. Overall it’s a great costume to have when you first get it! 

Costume 5: Jefferson

Jefferson is in the Tooth Academy in The Future and is an insane addition to your collection of costumes! It deals a hefty amount of damage but can’t take much, so make sure you time your blocks well. You’ll love this costume when you’re dealing with some early bosses! 

Costume 6: Wizard

The Wizard costume is in the Old Auburn Pines in The Future. Compared to some others, Wizards aren’t too great at taking damage. They are good at dealing damage though since their secondary attack can hit every enemy on you can see. You’re now halfway to getting all the costumes in Costume Quest 2!

Costume 7: Wolfman

Now here’s where the costumes get interesting! Wolfman is be found in New Repugia in Downtown and is pretty similar to Pterodactyls but better. They’re really good attackers with a perfectly usable level of defence, so they’re a great option for frontline fighters! It also has a cool ability where it will inflict a ‘scratched’ status on enemies that it hits. 

Costume 8: Pharaoh 

If you liked Clown, then you’ll love the Pharaoh costume! It is located at the New Repugia in the East. It’s very similar to Clown in that it’s good at attacking as well as possessing a good amount of bulk. The main difference is it’s special ability, ‘Gift of Life’, which allows you to restore copious amounts of HP to a character! 

Costume 9: Ghost

Ghost is in the Dental Compound in The Future. It’s a bit of a throwaway costume to be completely honest. They do have a defence/health bonus that’s fairly high but they can’t hit particularly hard. It has got a pretty cool design though! 

Costume 10: Hot Dog

If you couldn’t guess by the name (which, let’s be honest, you’re lying if you say you couldn’t), Hot Dog is an awesome costume. It’s found at the Research Lab in The Future and it will jump to the top of your list of favourite costumes very quickly. Capable of hitting multiple enemies with a normal attack for full damage! It’s a pretty broken costume but you only get it near the end of the game so the pros and cons even out a bit. 

Costume 11: Floss Robot

Floss Robot is in the Top Secret Warehouse in The Future and it is used primarily to achieve the goal of infiltrating Dr. White’s Inner Sanctum since when worn by the party leader, the party cannot get into battles. It doesn’t have any combat bonuses and can’t be worn in battle anyway, but that doesn’t matter since you won’t get into any while rocking this costume! 

Costume 12: Solar System

So, you thought Hot Dog was broken? Wait until you get this costume as part of your collection. It’s found in the Dental Compound in The Future, and is basically the best costume in the entire game. It’s incredible at offense and defense so no need to choose! There’s basically no downsides to this costume so once you have it, use it! 

So there’s how to get all the costumes in Costume Quest 2! It’s useful to note that almost all the costumes come with special abilities, but it more fun for you to discover those for yourself. Also, there’s even more costumes available when you get the DLCs so make sure to get those too! Have fun!
