KFC Expands Into Animal Crossing
That’s right! You read this correctly. Today KFC announced on their Philippino Facebook page that they’ve made an island on Animal Crossing: New Horizons solely for their Fast Food Restaurant.
Today the Animal Crossing fans got a taste of fried chicken as KFC Philippines opened up their own island in Animal Crossing. The Restaurant contained a convincing Colonel Cosplay. Shocking realism and that added attention to detail. The Restaurant had chicken buckets, Easels with menus placed upon them plus a fully kitted out kitchen and dining room. The island even has an inaccessible area where the Colonel can access his 11 secret spices and herbs!
The promotion was a special thanks to the collaboration between KFC and Advertising Firm Ogilvy.
Soon it will be opening its doors to the public. But, you will have to try and find the hiding Colonel to earn your rights to a code. With this code, you can redeem an 8-piece chicken bucket. Unfortunately for everyone outside of the Philippines. This promotion does not apply to you, Sorry. Although, you can still check out the island and pretend to be a part of the action with the Colonel and friends!
A daily queue is in place to acquire the Dodo Code and get into the island, which will be open from today June 17th until next Monday, June 22.
