New Fallout 76 Item Duplication Glitch

In April 2020, the Wastelanders update gave us NPCs. With this update came a new Fallout 76 item duplication glitch that can double ammo, aid and other highly sought after items.

The glitch uses the display case that players can build at camps. It’s achieved by putting items in the case and exploiting the game mechanics. There are a few rules though, that you can only duplicate stackable items, and you need at least five items.

How to do the new Fallout 76 item duplication glitch

Step 1

At your camp, build the display case shown in the image above, otherwise it’s the second option down in the displays menu. Take note of where you spawn the case, as you’ll need to be able to access it quickly.

Step 2

The glitch works with whatever stackable items are in your stash, not the inventory. So transfer whatever items (such as ammo) into your camp stash box.

Step 3

Once you’ve placed the case and transferred whatever you intend on duplicating, quit the game and then start it again.

Step 4

As soon as the game restarts run to the display case and use the option to display something.

Navigate to the item you want to duplicate and hit the button to assign it to a space in the case.
Once done, either destroy or stash the case, and when you check your stash, you should see that the amount of that item has doubled.

If done correctly, you should be able to do this duplication glitch over and over. Just remember, you need to have more than five of the item and they need to be stackable for this to work. This process is insanely quick, and can net you hundreds of well needed items.
