Season 3 Has Been Delayed for Fortnite Players

Season 3 has been delayed for Fortnite players, Although expected to originally launch this week, Epic Games has pushed back the launch of their third season to the 11th of June 2020.

This has left players and fans wondering when they can get their hands on the new battle pass. 

Why is it Delayed?

Today Epic Games confirmed that they will be delaying their next installment of the battle pass to the 11th of June. Not only are they delaying the Battle Pass. They are anticipating an end-of-season live event.

But by our records and previous experience in the Fortnite event history. The last one called the Fortnite Dooms-Day event. 

The next live event taking place on the 6th of June will be called the ‘Fortnite Device Event’. Then Finally, the fans get the event and battle pass we’ve been so desperately waiting for. 

Words From Epic.

‘Sourced from a blog post‘ Epic Games said: “In an effort to get everything ready for Chapter 2 – Season 3, we’re extending Season 2 by one week.

“The new launch day of Season 3 will be Thursday, June 11. Also, make sure to check out a one-time-only live event called The Device, now scheduled for Saturday, June 6 at 2 PM ET (please show up 30 minutes early to help secure your spot, space is limited!).

“Before the new season, don’t forget to complete your Battle Pass Challenges and lock in appearance choices for Brutus, TNTina, Meowscles, Skye, Midas, and Maya. There’s still time to complete the recently-added Location Domination and Storm The Agency Challenges.”

Please note that this isn’t the first Season 3 that Epic has delayed.
