Spelunky 2 Shop Farming Exploit

Typically, all the good stuff in Spelunky 2 is kept at close guard by the shopkeepers. Need a quick method to obtain these items without parting from your hard-earned cash? Check out our Spelunky 2 shop farming exploit! 

Step 1 – Let’s Go Shopping!

Find a shop. As usual, the keeper will be keeping a close eye on you ensuring you don’t try to run off with his stock.

Firstly, you’re going to want to pick up all the items and move them to the farthest wall from the exit. Tuck them into the wall as close as it can possibly go. Make sure not to steal the items by mistake or you’ll be paying with your life!

Step 2 – Bait And Switch

Make sure the keeper is away from the entrance. You can do this by picking up and carrying items over to the wall. He should follow you over there if you’re carrying his stock. Drop the item and head away from the keeper.

Now, turn and face him. It’s important not to run during this following step. Whip him and jump at the same time so that he falls backwards. As you begin to land, he should be running over to you. When timed perfectly, you’ll land on his head, taking him out completely! Now it’s easy to shoot him dead and steal from his shop!

Step 3 – Boom!

For another less risky method, pick up from Step 2 when the shopkeeper is against the far end of the shop. Place the item which you care least about at the farthest end and head outside. Throw a bomb in from outside and, if timed correctly, it’ll detonate, taking out both the shopkeeper and the less valued item. Now you can safely enter and raid whatever’s left!
