Deathloop

Deathloop is a wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey take on Arkane’s immersive sim formula. Two parts Dishonored and one part Groundhog Day, you’re tasked with assassinating eight targets in a single day. Learn more and adapt every time the loop repeats, and watch out for any invading, shape-shifting assassins. Deathloop Deluxe Edition is down from an eye-watering £80, so grab it whilst it’s hot.

Battle For Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated

Arguably the best collectathon on PS4 (yes, I know A Hat In Time is on PS4), Rehydrated is a loving remake of the very best of Spongebob’s videogame outings. Bursting with references to the classic early seasons, Battle For Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated is a patty of joy for anyone with a remote interest in the pineapple under the sea.

Normal price: £24.99

Sale price: £13.74

Doom Eternal

From PS4’s best collectathon to its best shooter, Doom Eternal is also down to a lovely £13.74. A game not made of code but of adrenaline and demon-killing energy, Doom Guy’s too-angry-to-die attitude drips from every hole you punch in the demons in front of you. The PS5 upgrade is included here too, letting you rip and tear through the horde in disgusting 4K.

Kingdom Hearts All-In-One Package

At a staggering 75% off, you can now not understand the story of Kingdom Hearts for the cheapest price ever. I’m not going to pretend to understand it either, but maybe I will once I’ve finished playing the ten amazing games included in this titanic bundle.

Normal price: £89.99

Sale price: £22.49

Dishonored 2

Arkane sneaks their way onto the list again, this time with the follow-up to the classic Dishonored. Death of The Outsider on stimulants, Dishonored 2 is a string of perfectly crafted puzzle boxes in the shape of gorgeous, run-down Victorian architecture. A must-play for stealth fans.

Normal price: £15.99

Sale price: £3.19

Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom – The Prince’s Edition

My pick for the best JRPG in the sale (sorry, Tales fans, I’ve not played Arise yet!) Ni No Kuni 2 is the successor to the cult classic  Studio Ghibli-Level 5 collaboration. For my money, this one’s even better than the first, even with the departure of most of the Ghibli staff that worked on the first. Joe Hisaishi is still here at least, and he’s the Ghibli MVP anyway. Don’t miss out on this astounding 85% reduction.
