Ways To Farm Nectar In Hades

Nectar is one of the most important treasure items in Hades, however they are an absolute pain to accumulate! It helps you to unlock Keepsakes, Companions, and build strong relationships with NPCs. So, let’s jump straight into some of the ways to farm Nectar in Hades!

Chamber Rewards

Nectar is most commonly found from reward drops after chamber battles but it usually helps to actively pick chambers that you know will offer you Nectar where you can! This is usually shown when you see the Nectar icon inside the door’s orb. Nectar can also be accumulated when completing Infernal Troves, giving you a 5% drop chance. The chance can be increased by purchasing upgrades with the Contractor back at the House of Hades. A Trove Tracker can also be bought at the Wells of Charon to make hunting for Troves a lot easier!

Shopping Around

There are 2 shops you can visit regularly to try and find some Nectar. The Wretched Broker shop occasionally trades Nectar for 5 Chthonic Keys and acts as a repeatable trade. There is also a limited time trade that requires 10 Gemstones, so be sure to grab yourself plenty of those where possible! Charon’s shop sometimes offers Nectar for 200 Obols which can be easily obtained through Contractor upgrades or particular Mirror of the Night perks.

Using Boons

There are 2 boons that can help you gather Nectar faster, especially earlier on in the game. Poseidon’s Sunken Treasure boon gives you a 10% chance of getting Nectar and Dionysus’ Premium Vintage boon which drops Nectar when chosen as well as providing a little health when picking up Nectar! All the more reason to get more Nectar!

Catching Fish in Elysium

If you ever find yourself in Elysium, be sure to go fishing! Once you’ve done that, ensure you turn them into the Head Chef back at the Lounge area the next time you end up at the House, and be rewarded with (you guessed it!) Nectar!

The Fated List

Head over to The Fated List, once purchased via the Contractor, which will be in Zagreus’ room. If you complete the prophecy of Distant Relatives you will be rewarded with 3 bottles of Nectar. So, don’t be shy to socialise with the rulers of Olympus!

That’s all for the ways you can farm Nectar in Hades! Hope these were helpful and if you have any questions or have any other tips, send us a message over on Twitter!
