5 Tips To Rank Up Quicker In Valorant

Valorant is arguably the most talked about game right now. Released officially just 2 days ago on June 2nd, players are getting stuck in to the competitive FPS to try and level up using their favourite operators.

Thanks to these 5 tips to rank up quicker in Valorant, you’ll be able to get those ranks up quickly!

So, how do you rank up quicker in Valorant?

The answer is simple! Win games and get kills! These 5 tips below will show you just how to do that EVERY time.

Smoke

Want to know a secret? Don’t use all of your smoke as soon as you get the chance like everybody else does!

Save them for the last part of the match, the most crucial moments that decide the victor can be swayed easily with a few well-placed smoke abilities.

Mini Map Settings

Some players aren’t utilising their map settings to the full extent, if this is you, check out the best settings below.

  1. Rotate: On
  2. Keep Player Centered: On
  3. Minimap size: 1.1
  4. Minimap zoom: 0.9
  5. Minimap vision cones: Off

Mouse Settings

FPS games are all about your accuracy with the mouse, and some players have their settings extremely high thinking it’ll make them better. This isn’t the case, Valorant players should stick bewtween 0.7 for 400 DPI and 0.5 for 800 DPI for the advantage over others!

You can find the sensitivity conversions from other games to Valorant below.

Get Those Headshots!

Landing headshots will decrease your TTK, meaning you’ll take less damage and can move straight on to the next opponent.

Keep your crosshair at head level, and try not to drop it to the floor when moving around, as you’ll have a very slow reaction time compared to other players.

Learn About the Game!

This one may seem obvious, but if you always pick the same character, weapons etc. You’ll never know what you’re going up against.

As the pros do with all other FPS games, you’re going to want to give everything a go. Understand the exact abilities and weaknesses of every character, and familiarise yourself with the recoil and spray pattern of every weapon.

Spraying a weapon over and over again at a wall will give you the understanding of the pattern it sprays in, and which directions the weapon tends to pull towards.
