Blackreach, Also known as Fal’Zhardum Din in Dwemeris. This large city is based under ‘Tower of Mvark’ in a deep cavern. With its teal fog and mushroom spores drifting through the air, the truly magnificent part about this city is the giant glowing mushrooms as seen in the photo. If you’re going to travel anywhere virtually this year, this is the place to go!

Firewatch: Wyoming wilderness

Let’s be honest, Firewatch is going to be on a list of most beautiful anything. This game is breathtaking wherever you go, it’s the small intricate details, mixed with the day and night cycles that offer up a prepossessing contrast as you trudge through a dark story focused on loss and alcoholism.

God of War: The Lake of Nine

The Lake of Nine is a hub in the game that will connect you to all other areas. There is nothing to say about this location because words on a page would never give you the visceral feel that the game would. Horizon Zero Dawn is packed with awe-inspiring locations that will make players put down their controllers to do a little weep of joy.
