Black Myth: Wukong

Black Myth: Wukong – How to Beat WANDERING WIGHT (ANY LEVEL)

Ok, this is the EASIEST way to beat the big head demon the wandering wight. You can do this at any level, but I’d recommend at least getting to level 6 so you can max that first health section of the skill tree.

STEP 1

So in this first section, you don’t HAVE to do this, but as I said before I’d suggest getting to level 6, upping the health section to max, and then defeating Chief Guangzhi so you can get his form. That will make this fight a hundred times easier.

STEP 2

Now that you’re prepared, or you’ve ignored step 1, the first thing you’ll want to do is make sure you’re coming up behind the big head, because timing for this is so crucial. Start a light attack combo and just after the big hit, the Wandering Wight will stumble back slightly, from here chain straight into another light combo without wasting a second. As long as you were quick enough you should land the heavy attack at the end of the combo just before big head manages to attack.

STEP 3

Now big head is going to be mad and try to get one of those area attacks off, but it’s all good, this is where you have to use the immobilize spell. Now land another light combo, and this time when you land that final hit, big head will snap out of immobilize and then fall backwards. This means you can get ANOTHER light combo in before he gets up. This should mean you’ve landed 4 light combo attacks before taking any damage.

STEP 4

Once the Wandering Wight stands up, he’ll finally be ready to start causing some damage, but we have another trick up our sleeve. Use the form you stole from the Chief earlier, and start dodging close to the boss until he stops doing his attacks, now SPAM the light combo attacks and dodging when needed. Once you land enough hits you’ll set big head on fire and this will do continuous damage alongside the hits you’re landing.

STEP 5

Once you de-transform you’ll probably need to land a few hits before immobilize comes back and you can start the whole process again, one thing to keep in mind during this fight is to stay behind big head at all times, and don’t get caught up in trying to spam him with hits when he’s in the process of engaging you head (zoom in on his head) on.

I ran behind him and dodged his attacks whilst hitting him once, and then kept moving. Just keep doing this until your immobilize comes back, and by the time you’ve used it and got the two sets of light combos off, your second form should be ready too!

Just keep going until you defeat the boss.
