Elden Ring: CRAZY FLYING GLITCH – Fly ANYWHERE on Your Horse and Fight ANY BOSS

For the players that want to skip a certain boss, or just want to explore the map without being slowed down by cliffs, fall damage, and enemies that can kill you by looking at you, we’ve gotchu covered! 

Here’s how you can hop on Torrent and fly to any part of the map. 

Step 1

As you may have guessed you’re going to need to jump on your horse.

Step 2

This step is where the difficult bit comes in, you’re going to need to be super quick with your fingers especially if you’re on console.

You’ll need to hit the button that makes you do the jump animation off of Torrent, and then before you hit the ground you’ll need to have fully quit the game.

For console players especially, this is going to feel next to impossible, I know this because I shouted THIS DOESN’T WORK about 48 times before I finally managed it. 

Here’s a helpful tip. Think of it like a cheat code, for example, I’m on PS5, and using the quickest way to quit for me would be START>UP>X>L1>X>LEFT>X.

For Xbox players yours would be START>UP>A>LB>A>LEFT>A.

And PC players I’m sure you can just assign a button to quit,  so you’re good. 

For this part of the glitch, I’d recommend just teaching your fingers the muscle memory before you start actually quitting out and getting it wrong a million times. You’ll get it down, it just takes a little practice. Let me know how many times it took you before you got it in the comments! 

Step 3

Now that you’ve nailed the first part of the glitch, when you load back into the game, Torrent should be standing next to you. This is how you know you did it right, if Torrent isn’t standing out on his own, you’ll need to do the glitch again.

Step 4

The next part isn’t that bad, just find yourself a veeerrry high ledge, one that would be an instant death if you fell. I did this whole set up behind the First Step in Limgrave.

Step 5

Once you’re at your ledge, slowly walk yourself closer and closer to it. Open up your quit menu, now keep slowly moving to the edge. Once you see yourself start to fall, hit quit and drop out of the game.

Step 6

Load back into the game.

Step 7

When you load back in you’ll be stood back on the ledge, and Torrent won’t be stood outside anymore. If he is, you’ll have to do this part again, just slowly drop off and quit like before.

Step 8

Now that you’ve done it right, scroll over to select Torrent from your menu, you’ll notice that it says you have to revive Torrent in order to summon him in. Use the flask to revive Torrent. Although you’ve clicked it, this won’t summon Torrent in, so go ahead and click the summon button again.

This time, Torrent will appear and you’ll be able to ride off the cliff, and you’ll be floating.

A few things to note here, if you want to go higher while in the flying glitch, all you need to do is ride over higher terrain like cliffs and mountains, you can touch solid ground and then jump straight back into the glitch, getting off of Torrent will end the glitch.

And the most important note, while you’re in the glitch, don’t jump, as Torrent will eventually get stuck and you’ll fall to your death.
