EP Farming: Unlimited EP In PROTOTYPE 2

Eager to be the biggest bad-ass you can as soon as possible? Or just want to max out James Heller’s stats in a single play-through? Then here’s our super simple PROTOTYPE 2 EP farming guide for unlimited EP!

STEP 1: Find the right mission for you 

For this exploit you’re going to need a mission that gives you a huge amount of EP very quickly. Missions that task you with consuming a large number of scientists are perfect for this. I’ve chosen the first one available in the game: Gentek support 2-C, found as part of the Blacknet side mission Operation: Manticore. Luckily, similar missions are available throughout the game if you’ve already passed this point. 

STEP 2: Consume all the scientists, except one. 

Follow the objective and start consuming scientists, remember to leave one alive for the next step! 

STEP 3: Restore your last checkpoint immediately after consuming the last scientist 

Remember that last scientist you saved for later? Well, you can consume them now! After you’ve consumed them, an EP meter will start to fill on your screen, pause the game and restore the checkpoint BEFORE the EP meter fills! 

STEP 4: Rinse and repeat 

You’ll find yourself back where you started with all the EP you just gained intact and more tasty scientists to consume. The EP you get from consuming scientists scales with your level, so no matter how far through the game you are, this method is always effective.

Imagine what you could do with an hour, or even just 20 minutes? At time of writing, the PS4 version I played came out 5 years ago and the original Xbox 360/ PS3 versions 8 years ago, so I think it’s safe to say this isn’t getting patched any time soon!
