Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Becomes Koei Tecmo’s Best-selling Musou Game
According to its official Japanese Twitter account, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity (2020) received 4 million shipped physical copies and digital downloads as of 5th January 2022.
The Hype Is Real!
Following the success of Nintendo’s hit title, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (2017) and its highly-anticipated sequel (set to release this year), it is no surprise that this hack-and-slash prequel which expands upon the events of the Great Calamity would generate a similar response. Its last milestone was announced last April, where it sold 3.7 million units.

The Future Of Zelda Games
Age of Calamity gameplay experience was expanded by two DLC waves, containing new missions, maps, playable characters, weapons and more. Now Zelda fans are on the edge of their seats to see what news and updates are arriving in 2022 for the sequel to Breath of the Wild.
