Modern Warfare 2 just dropped its first raid AtomGrad episode 1. It’s an extremely intense mode that will test your friendship, patience, and trust with underwater levels, doors that can chop your mates in half, and an unlimited supply of angry bad guys.
Yet, the hardest part of this new mission has to be the final stage. This section of the raid has 3 rounds where you and your teammates will need to call out to each other in an attempt to decipher a different code three times. Frustratingly, the codes get trickier with each round, and so will the masses of enemies pouring in to stop you. From bomb drones to heavily armoured enemies and even gas flooding the room, this really is a challenging task.
However, all is not lost! Here’s the easiest way to get this section done and save both your friendship and your time!
One player should be at the console ready to start it. Once that players starts round 1, they’ll need to either memorise the code or take a photo of it. This player should call out to the others and let them know what they’re seeing on the console.
This player should then run to room B to find which letters and numbers match up with what is on the console.
The other two players will need to be in room A. This is because room A gets the most action in terms of enemies. This is also the only room that fills with gas making things incredibly difficult.
One player should be focused on shooting the enemies, whilst the other player should be reading out the letters and numbers to help the player at the console.
This is where things get tricky. After solving the first code the players will need to rotate as each player can only use the console once.
You’ll need to stick with the same process for round 2, having two players in room A, and one manning room B and the console. The only thing different about round 2 is the amount of enemies.
If a teammate goes down, it doesn’t matter, you can take your time. The code will reset and you can get it on the next try. However, if you get the code wrong you’ll have to start back at round 1.
This round is insane! The timer is much shorter, there are a lot more enemies, and bomb drones.
The process will have to be switched up for this round, you’ll need one player in room A, one in room B and one standing at the console.
Fortunately, although there are more enemies, they’re evenly spread for this round.
When you finish all three rounds, you’ll need to wait just over 3 minutes for the blast doors to open. At this time, you’ll have to dig in and fight A LOT of armoured enemies.
Leaving the blast doors will result in the enemy planting a bomb so unfortunately, you’ll need to stay put and dig in. Waiting for the door will feel like an eternity, but the best way to do it is to have one player looking right, one looking left, and the third player jumping in between whoever needs help.
In regards to the bad guys, you’ll have multiple barrages of irritating bomb drone gangs which can be easily dispatched with an auto weapon. For the armoured enemies, stay behind the barrels either side of the room and use proximity mines to keep them at a distance. Finally, when the juggernaut comes, throw all your tacticals and lethals at him. Flash grenades work perfectly to buy you some time here, so spread them out and keep the Jug pinned down. Two players will be enough to take him down whilst the third should be keeping the bomb drones and enemies at bay from behind.
The last minute will feel impossible, but fortunately, once the juggernaut goes down, you’ll have a minigun to even the playing field and take your sweet, sweet revenge.
