Not only is the new Pokemon MOBA, Pokemon Unite coming to Nintendo Switch and Mobile, but IT’S CROSS-PLATFORM!
Like traditional Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) games, the Pokemon Company’s upcoming title, Pokemon Unite hosts 5v5 matches on a symmetrical map. Each team has a base either side of the map that they will need to protect.
Unfortunately, the June 4th announcement hasn’t offered up a release window yet.

Pokemon Unite is going to be a free-to-play game!
Like the tradition MOBA, Pokemon Unite will start players at level 1, and they’ll level up throughout the match. In true Pokemon fashion, this will cause them to evolve (assuming they CAN evolve.)
Currently, we’ve only seen a small clip of Pokemon Unite, and don’t know whether characters will have the ability to Mega Evolve.

While we still don’t know the specifics with the movesets, the trailer shows off some very familiar moves such as Charizards flamethrower, and Blastoises Hydropump. It’s most likely going to focus heavily on Match-typing like other Pokemon games.
