State of Decay: Never Die Exploit

Surviving a zombie apocalypse is already hard enough. You need food,shelter, water and guns. 

Yeah, you’re definitely going to need guns. 

But more important than all of that, is people. The people are the ones that go and get the aforementioned food,water and guns.

In State of Decay when your people die, they are gone for good, making that old surviving business a hell of a lot more difficult.

Below I’m going to teach you how to ensure all your favourite people are still standing when the zombie apocalypse finally comes to an end.

How to do the State of Decay never die exploit

Time to Die

This exploit is really easy to pull off and should work for both PC and Xbox. In this example I will be referring to the Xbox version.

It might be best for you to test this trick beforehand, just so you have the technique down when the time comes.

Take control of whoever you want and head out into the barren world. Then get yourself killed by zombies.

Delete That Data

After your character dies you will be prompted to select from one of your other survivors, for this State of Decay never die exploit to work, don’t. 

Instead press the ‘Home’ button on your Xbox, scroll down to State of Decay and select Manage Game & Add-ons. 

From here, go to your Saved Data and select your State of Decay data then delete from the console.

Make sure you only delete the games Save Data and not the game itself, you will be very upset if you do that.

The Resurrection

Now if you go back into the game you will either immediately start as the character that just died. Or, you will have the character select screen, which will allow you to choose that character.

Crisis averted! Now if any of your best survivors succumb to the zombie threat in the future and you just can’t bear to see them go; you know the trick to bring them back (minus the hunger for flesh of course).
