The 5 Most Incredible Mods For The Sims 4

The Sims 4 is an undoubtedly great game, but it still lacks in certain areas… But with such a brilliant community surrounding the game series, there’s an abundance of mods you can download to improve the game! We’re going to let you into a little secret: our Best 5 mods that you should definitely download if you want to enjoy The Sims to its fullest.

How To Install Mods And CC

First thing’s first, you need to know how to install the mods! These instructions also apply to Custom Content so check back here if you want to install those too.

Step 1.

Find the mod you’re looking to download and click on the link. This will download the mod onto your computer/Mac.

Step 2.

Locate the file in Windows Explorer/Finder, mine was in Downloads, and drag it over to the folder /Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods.

Step 3.

Open The Sims 4, click on the three dots in the top right corner, open Game Options, and go into ‘Other’. Make sure both ‘Enable Custom Content and Mods’ and ‘Script Mods Allowed’ are both clicked. Now restart the game.

Step 4.

Once you’ve opened the game again, there should be a ‘Mods’ panel that automatically opens with your newly installed mods.

The top 5 mods for The Sims 4

Now you know how to actually get a hold of them, here’s the Best 5 Mods you NEED to get for The Sims 4!

MC Command Center by Deaderpool

MC Command Center by Deaderpool is one of the best ones you can get, period. There’s not even an argument to be made here, it’s just great. With the MCCC Mod you essentially gain full control over every aspect of the game. You can decide how people die, change their age, add or delete relationships, control household bills, and so much more.

Check out the images below to see the sort of things you can get up to with the MCCC Mod and download it here – https://deaderpool-mccc.com/#/releases

Slice of Life by KawaiiStacie

The Slice of Life Mod by KawaiiStacie basically adds a whole lot of realism to the world and gives you the game you thought you were getting when you bought The Sims 4. It includes updates such as appearance changes (teary eyes, blushed cheeks, bruised face, etc), personality types (The Nurturer, The Performer, The Provider, etc), new emotions (humiliated, pumped, passionate, etc), GET DRUNK, and way more.

I guess you’ll have to find out everything else by downloading it yourself! Find the link by visiting – https://www.kawaiistaciemods.com/post/slice-of-life-mod

UI Cheats Extension by Weerbesu

The UI Cheats Extension by Weerbesu is amazing! There’s not a crazy amount to it, but it means that you can change things by clicking on their UI! You can right-click on the needs bar to go from -100 to 100, you can left click on the money counter to get 1000 simoleons, right-click on a moodlet to remove it, and you can even right-click on an aspiration to fulfill it immediately.

These aren’t even half of what you can do in total, so you obviously need to download it right this second – https://www.patreon.com/posts/ui-cheats-v1-15-26240068

Meaningful Stories by roBurky

This one is a little bit self-explanatory but don’t underestimate how nice it is to have it as part of the game! The Meaningful Stories Mod by roBurky redefines the mood and emotion system in the game. This essentially allows your Sims to feel emotions in the same way real people do, for example, instead of feeling happy without reason, your Sims will feel ‘Fine’ until given a reason to feel happy!

Add a bit more realism to the game by downloading the mod here – https://roburky.itch.io/sims4-meaningful-stories

*NSFW* Extreme Violence by Sacrificial Junior

This probably goes without saying but Extreme Violence by Sacrificial Junior is not safe for work, so don’t go logging in during a dull moment if you install this mod! This mod is so much fun for when you need to let off a little steam or a particular sim is driving you insane. It allows you to murder sims in much more gruesome and inventive ways, my personal favourite being ‘Choke on Grilled Cheese’.

You’ll have to download the mod to see some of the other options which you can do here – https://www.patreon.com/posts/extreme-violence-37126476

So there’s our Best 5 Mods to enjoy your simming experience to the fullest! Which ones do you think you’ll download from this list? Which one is your favourite? If you think we’ve missed any vital mods then let us know on our Twitter
