The Top 10 Roblox Games of 2020

Roblox is a hybrid! It’s a Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) game, but it’s also a space for creative players to build to their hearts content. All Roblox players have the ability to create the next big adventure, or the next seemingly impossible obstacle course. Much like Dreams and Little Big Planet, the possibilities end where your imagination stops.

Now that you know what Roblox games are, I bet you’re wondering “what are the top 10 Roblox games of 2020?”. Fortunately, you’ve come to the right place!

Top 10 Roblox Games of 2020:

10. Natural Disaster Survival

Any Roblox aficionado will know about this survival simulation. The task at hand is exactly what you’d expect, survive a natural disaster!
The disaster changes each round, which really messes with your survival plan.

My first game had us being whipped around by a sandstorm, so naturally, running for cover in a building was the way to go. Many players were lost, but not forgotten.

Attempting to beat everyone else during the second round, I ran into a small house, ready for a storm to wipe out my fellow blocky brethren.

I was killed almost instantly by a flood! As the water began rising, I panicked and my thumbs refused to work together in hoisting my character out from cover. RIP blocko Liam.

If you’re a newbie to Roblox in 2020, I’d suggest giving this game a try before anything else.

9. Theme Park Tycoon 2

We all knew it was coming. Management Sims go hand in hand with Roblox games. I love the idea that people are in a game, creating a game, about creating a theme park… real Gameception stuff here.

With so many options to add in Roblox’s game creator, it’s no wonder why everybody makes a Management Sim.

Theme Park Tycoon 2 is surprisingly intricate in it’s options and tasks. You’ll need to keep your customers happy with everything you’d expect.

Keeping the park clean, offering food, making sure there’s plenty to do, and emptying bins are all contributing factors to your clienteles contentment.

Expanding your park and filling it with happy customers means more money for you. The amount of money you make tallies up on an online scoreboard, adding light competition to an already great game.

8. Mad City

Mad City is chaos. Imagine Grand Theft Auto and Minecraft had a baby, and then that weird, blocky baby robbed your house. That’s Mad City.

The idea is to pick a side, you can be a hero and work to help the police force clean the streets and deliver justice with your guns. Or, you can choose the life of a villain, and join the many criminals causing chaotic mayhem with heists, explosions and being really really mean to people!

You have access to different vehicles, cars and choppers to name a few. You can get into gun fights on top of moving trains, or crash a helicopter into an enemy! It’s just a city of adrenaline fuelled madness, and you’ll love every minute of it!

7. Phantom Forces

This game delivers everything you want in an FPS, strategic gameplay, maps with plenty of cover, and realistic(ish) recoil on your weapons.

All of this culminates into a very enjoyable experience.

Landing a shot on an enemy is something that Phantom Forces does even better than some of the big FPS titles. Damn, is that hit marker satisfying!

Get a headshot from across the map, in Team Deathmatch with a Desert Eagle, and you tell me you’re not impressed!

Regardless of how long it’s been out, get this Roblox game in 2020! Trust me!

6. Ghost Simulator

OK, so the title is misleading. This is NOT a simulation that allows you to fulfil all of your undead fantasies. Nope.

Let me reiterate, you can’t be a ghost in this! The good news is that it’s basically a Ghostbusters simulator.

Equipped with your vacuum to kill ghosts (obviously,) you’ll traverse multiple levels through all of the various biomes you’d expect.

There are bosses that prove to be pretty challenging, as well as mini bosses that make you feel like a badass. The main draw of this game is its loot, especially the pets.

This Roblox game is incredibly popular in 2020, YouTubers are still uploading daily content on it. Go check it out!

5. Q-Clash

This. Is. Crazy! Q-Clash is Roblox’s take on the popular 6v6 team based shooter, Overwatch, and it’s done incredibly well!

You can choose from the various types of heroes you’d expect, from healers, to tanks, to snipers.

This game doesn’t just recreate all of the best things about Overwatch, it’s a great game on its own merit. The guns are actually accurate, the supercharged abilities are very well thought out, and going back to what I said about Phantom Forces, the hit detection, and hit marker noises, are just… *Chefs Kiss*.

Go to Roblox and download this game right now!

4. BMX Simulator

Another simulator was inevitable in a list of top Roblox games, as sims are easily 90 percent of the content from the community.

BMX Simulator is a nice change of pace from the fast action of Q-Clash. Your only competitor is you, trying to outdo your previous score by performing tricks, wheelies and stoppies, while jumping off of high places and zooming down ramps.

It doesn’t look as polished as some of the other Roblox games in this list, but there’s something therapeutic about gliding around with your fellow blocked bikers and performing jumps over one another.

3. Strucid

Strucid is a battle royale Roblox game with a suspiciously familiar building mechanic… I personally would’ve called it Fortnight, but whatever.
The game plays surprisingly well, although, it’s hard to avoid the big battle royale shaped elephant in the room whilst building platforms and gathering materials.

The game includes all of the same features, the building mechanics, the pickaxes to break down buildings for materials, the gliders, even the animation when enemies take damage. Despite this huge list, there’s something about Strucid that stopped me writing it off as a clunky Fortnite clone. I found myself saying ‘one more game’ up until 2am.

Strucid has a certain quality that I can’t quite put my finger on, that makes it really fun to play.

Maybe you can tell me what it is, reach out to me on the Gaming Exploits Twitter page and give me a shout. I’d be interested in your opinion on the game.

2. Jailbreak

Another game that puts you in the shoes of either side of the law, Jailbreak is surprisingly tactical. I was also delighted to see that it wasn’t named ‘Jailbreak Simulator’.

If you choose the criminal side, you and you friends will have to work together in order to plot, and execute your escape. Whilst anyone who chose the officers, will have the arduous task of watching prisoners. The officer role isn’t as boring as it sounds, I mean, the game is called Jailbreak, you’re going to see some action.

It’s a race against time as criminals attempt to flee the city, hopping in cars, hiding in the back of cargo trucks, and “acquiring” boats to head for the open sea. Whilst the officers take to the skies in choppers in an attempt to round up all of the cheeky escapees in time for dinner.

It’s one of the top Roblox games for anyone playing in 2020, and it still has regular updates, featuring new vehicles and ways to fight your enemies, go get it!

1. Murder Mystery 2

Very similar to the murder mystery game on Gary’s Mod, Murder Mystery 2 works impressively well.

Every player will be assigned a secret identity. They’ll either be an innocent, a sheriff, or a murderer. It’s up to the sheriff and all of the innocent players to work together, to figure out who the murderer is, and… kill them.

It’s the murderers job to act innocent, flick light switches off and secretly knife everyone before they put the clues together and figure out who the murderer is.

Once an innocent has been killed, they’ll lose the ability to communicate with the team, which makes the game horribly tense near the end.

I was an innocent left in the game with another innocent, and a murderer. We couldn’t decide on who it was, the tension grew, until I made an executive decision and killed the other innocent… oops.

This was by far the top Roblox game, and I’d highly recommend it!
