Vessel Fragments In Hollow Knight

Vessel Fragments are incredibly useful and kind of a must for getting through Hollow Knight. Every third vessel fragment you collect allows you to carry more Soul which is also important because it heals you and casts spells! So here’s a guide to the locations of the Vessel Fragments in Hollow Knight! 

Vessel Fragment 1

The first Vessel Fragment is bought from Sly in Dirtmouth after he has set up shop. It costs 550 Geo so it’s not cheap!

Vessel Fragment 2

The second Vessel Fragment is found at the Forgotten Crossroads in the Southern Region. You’ll need to unlock the elevator in the City of Tears, take the elevator up, and head left. Do your wandering until you find the fragment!

Vessel Fragment 3

This next fragment is also found in the City of Tears. Once you’ve unlocked the right half of the City you can take the top exit out of King’s Station and head up until you reach an arena. Needless to say, you’ll need to complete the arena to unlock the gate and access your fragment! 

Vessel Fragment 4

After that, Vessel Fragment number 4 is located in Deepnest in the southeastern region. You’ll definitely need the Mantis Claw and Mothwing Cloak abilities in order to get this one. Use Nail Jump to figure out the maze about the Deepnest Tram Station and collect your prize!

Vessel Fragment 5

The fifth Vessel Fragment is collected by putting 3000 Geo in the well in Ancient Basin. 

Vessel Fragment 6

After you’ve collected the Shopkeeper’s Key you can buy this fragment from Sly in Dirtmouth for 900 Geo. 

Vessel Fragment 7

This one is found in Howling Cliffs in the Stag Nest. First you’ll have to find every Stagway Station. Once you’ve done so, use the new Stagway option to ride to the Stag Nest. 

Vessel Fragment 8

Next, this Vessel fragment is pretty straight forward and can be traded for 700 essence from Seer at the Resting Grounds. 

Vessel Fragment 9

The final Vessel Fragment is located in Greenpath in the southwestern corner, just left of the Massive Moss Charger miniboss. Once again, you’ll need Mothwing Cloak and Mantis Claw to complete this. After finishing several Nail Jump sections above acid, wall-jump up to the very top of the area and you’ll find the final fragment! 

Finally, now that you have all of the Vessel Fragments in Hollow Knight, you can carry as much as Soul as you could possibly need. This will certainly help in your adventure!
