Call of Duty: The Best Rytek AMR Sniper Rifle Loadout

Season 4 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare has recently hit, and with it a host of new weapons, modes and character skins! One of those such new additions, is the arrival of a brand new sniper rifle. The Rytec AMR! This sniper rife is unique in that you can equip it with EXPLOSIVE ROUNDS! To unlock this beast you’ll have to channel your inner child/ spotty teenager and return to the ancient art of quick scoping. Lets get into our Rytek loadout guide!

How Do I Unlock The Rytek AMR?

The Rykek AMR can be unlocked by achieving 3 quick scope kills across 15 different games with either a sniper rifle or marksman rifle. As a little tip, you can leave the game you’re in after completing your 3 quick scope kills and it WILL count towards unlocking the gun. This can be done more easily, of course, if you have access to multiplayer and can play on a fast paced level such as shipment. If you are a free player then your best bet is to repeatedly play the plunder game mode in Warzone. You’ll be able to re-spawn and choose and use your own custom load out from the get go.

Which Attachments Should I Use For Multiplayer?

In Multiplayer it’s all about aiming down the site as quickly as possible in order to out shoot your enemy. Although the explosive and thermite rounds are fun, they are really only useful in Wazone due to the use of armour. This gun is powerful enough for multiplayer on its own! Therefore, we recommend the following for your Rytek loadout:

• FTAC 448mm Dictator Barrel – The shortest barrel available which gives you increased aiming down sight and movement speed.
• Stippled Grip Tape – Improves aiming down sight speed.
• STOVL Tac-Wrap – Improves aiming down sight speed.
• Tac Laser – Helps with aiming down sight speed.
• Variable Scope/ Cronen C480 Pro Optic – Change it up depending on map size to adapt to each situation.

Which Attachments Should I Use For Warzone?

Now we can have some fun! For Warzone, we 100% suggest using explosive rounds for your Rytek loadout. It does take a bit of getting used to though as bullet velocity is cut to TWENTY FIVE PERCENT of what you get with regular bullets. BUT, it has HUGE damage potential meaning you can take an armoured enemy down with 1 well placed shot. The explosive rounds are also super effective against vehicles and can take them down with relative ease in just a few shots. For Warzone, we recommend the following:

• 25 x 59 mm Explosive 5-R Mag – EXPLOSIVE ROUNDS. Adds damage to your shots as well as explosive splash damage.
• Tac Laser – Helps with aiming down sight speed.
• Rytek AMR Suppresor – (A Monolithic Suppressor in disguise) Keeps your shots hidden on the mini map as well as adding some extra range to your shots.
• Stippled Grip Tape – Improves aiming down sight speed.
• STOVL Tac-Wrap – Improves aiming down sight speed.

Thermite rounds do have there uses and can be very effective at burning through armour and health against enemies hiding in tight areas as well as downed enemies. The thermite also produces splash damage and acts much like the thermite grenade in that respect.

Which Secondary Weapon Should I Take?

A good accompaniment to the Rytek is the Renetti equipped with the burst mod. High rate of fire and a steady aim allows for quick kills when your back is against the wall.
