Destiny 2 Class Changes Guide And New Stasis Abilities

Are you ready for your new favourite subclass in Destiny 2? Welcome Stasis as the new subclass everyone is waiting for, and will possibly break the game. From PVP to the open exploration of destiny I’ll tell you how Stasis will be better than Solar, Void and Arc. Without further ado, let’s get into our Destiny 2 Class Changes Guide!

Titan Behemoth – Crash Like An Avalanche

Have you ever felt the pain of getting killed in the middle of your super? Well be prepared to get frozen during it too with the titans super: Glacial Quake. This super can freeze enemies from across the map with the shockwaves it sends out. 1 v 1’s, super vs super are none existent when you can just freeze the opponent by punching the ground. Along with freezing opponents, this super also allows the titan to jump higher, faster and farther (maybe getting outside of map boundaries). The perfect exotic for this subclass would be the titan exotic Dunemarchers for the increased mobility and the upgraded melee attack, because there is three buttons to a titan; shift, W and melee.

Warlock Shadebinder – Fracture With Frost

Where Titans lean on the W key for their playstyle, Warlocks have always had a sorta IQ threshold. And now with their new subclass Shadebinder this might prove true. The Warlock’s super, Winter’s Wrath, can summon a staff of pure stasis to launch projectiles towards foes, instantly freezing them. After freezing them you can then detonate the staff to create a shockwave that shatters all frozen foes. You don’t even need to be in super to be able to pull out your staff and freeze enemies! That’s the warlock’s melee ability too. This freeze, followed by a shockwave seems pretty strong and I can definitely see that it’ll go through walls.

Hunter Revenant – Bring The Storm

Are enemies too fast for you? Are you missing too many shots? Well struggle no longer friends as the Revenant subclass will fix this for you! By slowing enemies around the hunter. The new hunter revenant has the super Silence & Squall which is a “two pronged” attack. The first attack freezes enemies in an AOE. The next then detonates on impact and creates a storm of frozen energy that tracks targets. Not only that but the Hunter has a new melee where they throw a ninja star that ricochets off walls and destroys frozen targets.

Grenades! And Their Infinite Ability To Destroy…

Who doesn’t like the fresh smell of napalm in the morning? Well, destiny players who wake up on the 10th of November will be waking up to the crisp smell of hardened space ice with three new grenades to play with.

1st. Glacier Grenade – first thing it hits will erupt in a wall of stasis crystal and any enemies standing nearby will be trapped within! This is honestly the crazy one for me, giving players the ability to create platforms anywhere they want will expose areas that the developers don’t want the players to see… In the same vein as this though, the devs of destiny have put in tonnes of jumping puzzles and time trials for its players in raids. Maybe these grenades will become a factor in them too.

2nd. Cold Snap Grenade – a tracking grenade that upon contact with the ground will seek out the nearest foe and freeze them in place. The grenade will then continue to do this up to three times. This one will be interesting in PVP, freezing 3 members of a fireteam of 5? Sounds dangerously nasty

3rd. Duskfield Grenade – the last one on the list. This grenade creates an AOE field that sucks nearby enemies into it, slows them and, if they don’t make it out of the field in time, freezes them! We have a few of the lasting AOE field grenades in the game already, and they are useful to lock entire corridors in PVP.

Final Thoughts

Hopefully this Destiny 2 class changes guide gets you as excited for the new DLC as I am! I hope that some of the predictions come true, at least on the PVP side. All new releases have trouble in the first few days they are released so remember, if there is any trouble, report it but remain patient. The Devs will fix it as soon as they can!
