Stardew Valley Item Spawn Cheat
Although there was a patch for the Stardew Valley item spawn cheat, it’s worth mentioning that it still works on random occurrences in dialogue. It also still works in most cut scenes, as well as the animal technique still working.

How to do the item spawn cheat
Anything can be spawned into existence in Stardew Valley, simply by having the items corresponding ID said out loud by an NPC, think of it as a reverse Rumpelstiltskin.
For example, you might name your character [611][577][532], if you anticipate having a regular need for those items.
Keep in mind, you have to use the open and closed brackets and you can only use three 3 digit numbers in your name.
Now, anytime somebody says your name, each of the item IDs in your name will spawn its respective item into your inventory.
How to exploit the item spawn cheat
Chatting with Gus in the saloon on Monday will first offer up a generic piece pf dialogue. However, afterwards Gus will say your name every time you speak to him. Time to spam the talk button and net yourself thousands of free items.
Other ways to exploit the item spawn cheat in Stardew Valley
Don’t want to name yourself after a group of numbers? That’s fine. You can always buy animals from Marnie. Naming them after item IDs will ensure that Marnie’s dialogue after you’ve purchased a new animal gives you a bundle of free items. Sorted!
What Stardew Valley cheat IDs Should I use?
I personally always go for:
- Prismatic shard [74] – These are great for building friendships quickly, especially as everybody but Haley love these.
- Iridium Sprinkler [645] – Extremely valuable during the early game (and the late game.)
- Legend Fish [163] – This is purely for money. They sell for 11,250g so a couple of these bad boys will set you up for life!
