The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor for PS4 and XB1

Another chapter is being added to the Elder Scrolls universe next week! We’ll see Greymoor added next Tuesday (9th June 2020,) coming to PlayStation and Xbox.

Adventurers can take on new challenges and meet new foes or as Bethesda says “A Year-Long Gothic Adventure”. But what can you expect from this release and is it really worth the money?

The Greymoor chapter is certainly worth every last penny in your piggy bank.
In our opinion, each release in the Elder Scrolls series has been worth it!

The cinematics, Graphics, Storyboard, and just the sheer sense of freedom and adventure you experience throughout every release from the Bethesda studios.

What To Expect

Greymoor is an expansion pack new to the ESO series which also brings a load more content, adventure, and items for you to explore. Firstly let’s talk about the location, The new location never seen before ‘Western Skyrim’ is something you’ll have with the pack. Al new place to explore, new wildlife, new NPC’s. Oh, and a new Vampire Lord accompanied by ‘Dark Beasts’.

Is It A New Adventure?

Rightfully so, This new expansion is set to hold the Gothic Storyline that ties into the ‘Dark Heart of Skyrim’ adventure. A heap full of public dungeons where you and your companions can take on the ‘Quest Boss’. Along with delves and stand-alone quests that you can do also. A new trial is being added. This pack is a 12-player Trail called Kyne’s Aegis. All we know about the trail is that there are three bosses that need to be defeated in order to complete it:

  • Yandir The Butcher
  • Captain Vrol
  • Lord Falgravn

So even the strongest players in the ESO universe may find this one a struggle.

New Skill Lines

The rework of the Vampire skill line will be introduced in this series. The rework will be available to the F2P users in ESO. This will include a load more skills to use such as; Blood Scion, Eviscerate, Blood Frenzy & Mesmerize plus many many more.

Scrying – Scrying Skills in Elder Scrolls Online are part of a special skill line that is focused on Antiquities across the Tamriel. Including such skill as;

  • Scry
  • Antiquarian Insight
  • Future Focus
  • Far Sight

Excavations – Excavation Skills in Elder Scrolls Online are part of a special skill line that is focused on Antiquities across the Tamriel. Including such skill as;

  • Hand Brush
  • Trowel
  • Heavy Shovel
  • Keen Eye: Treasure Chests

What is the Antiquities System?

Antiquities is a new skill that was released with the Greymoor expansion that sends players on a treasure hunt of sorts. How it works is that players will find these items from either looting containers or quest rewards. They then have to scry the puzzle to receive a clue on which they’ll know the location or whereabouts they need to search. They will have to search for a few places. The locations given to the players are completely randomized and some of those are dead leads. Although if you want to save on time. Get good at the puzzles and you’ll receive the reward faster.

Once at the location given after solving the first puzzle, Players must look for small dirt mounds in the location, here they will find another puzzle. Different from the first one but solving this will reward the player anything from Cosmetics to New Mythic items.

Mythic Items

Mythic items are a new level coming with this new expansion, They use an intriguing Kiss/Curse system. Meaning that you will receive extreme benefits from these items but in return, you will sacrifice in other areas. For instance, There are new boots that make it so you cannot be rooted or snared but in exchange, you cannot sprint. The more higher quality Antiquities you do. The better mythic items you will receive

Summary

To summarise, We are looking to receive a new area (Western Skyrim), New adventures, Trials, Caves, and Bosses. Above all this. We will be receiving new mythic items, skills, and travels.
