If you’re trying to hunt down that Platinum Trophy in Darksiders Genesis then you are going to need all Levithan Cores.Annoyingly, the hardest core to obtain is stuck behind a frustratingly difficult platforming challenge. In this guide we’ll show you the easiest way to obtain a Leviathan Core in Darksiders Genesis.

So what is the easiest way to obtain a Leviathan Core in Darksiders Genesis?

Step One

Get yourself to the area pictured above. This area is just below the Levithan Core we are trying to obtain.

Step Two

Now we need to practise a combo that will allow us to jump higher than usual and enable us to get to the Leviathan Core.

The combo is fairly straightforward but does need to be completed very quickly. So, make sure you test it out a few times first to get yourself familiar.

The combo works as follows:

Double Jump > Wings > Blade Geyser > Scorpion Kick > Blade Geyser

The key to making this work is to ensure you use your Wings at the absolute peak of your jump; following up with Blade Geyser immediately after.

Once you’ve got that combo locked down, it’s time to get the Leviathan Core.

Step Three

This is the easiest step of all.

Using the platforms to the right of the door you will be able to climb to just below the Leviathan Core. Try as you might, you will always be just out of reach.

That’s where the combo kicks in. Using that combo, just like you practised, will give you just a little extra boost of height, allowing you to reach the platform and collect your prize.

And that’s it! This is by far the easiest way to obtain a Leviathan Core in Darksiders Genesis, all it takes is a little bit of practise.
