Surgeon Simulator is a beloved game covered online by many famous YouTubers such as Jacksepticeye, Fernanfloo, and Pewdiepie. Since its release in April 2013, we’ve all kind of wanted a little bit more… Well it’s here! December 2019 graced us with the knowledge of Surgeon Simulator 2 coming to our PCs and July 2020 has ramped our excitement up to 11!
Perhaps the best news out of everything we know about Surgeon Simulator 2 is all the new additions to the game that will set it apart from its predecessor.
To begin with, STORY MODE! The new story mode is very puzzle-based and guides you through several risky operations as you complete the all-new trials.
Next, CREATION MODE! This was an unexpected one! With Surgeon Simulator 2 you can actually build your own lab! You can create your own levels and environments and share them online. Think Super Mario Maker with a gruesome and entertaining twist.
Last but not least, MULTIPLAYER! This is without a doubt the most exciting part! You can now play Surgeon Simulator with up to 4 players at a time, that’s you and three friends. If you like a challenge then this is certainly one for you to attempt, better bring your A-game!
Lucky for us (and also unlucky because we want to play too), a few YouTubers have been given the chance to try out Surgeon Simulator 2 before the pre-release. So what did they think?
DanTDM on the creative mode, both playing a level someone else has created and attempting to make one himself, and really enjoyed it! “Hilarious” I do believe his exact words were.
BaronVonGames legitimately said these words: “Surgeon Simulator [2] is crazy, I love it.” Honestly what more do you need to know? They played a level with a working bowling alley so I say that’s a win!
Jacksepticeye also had a stream party with a few other YouTubers including RTGame, CallMeKevin, and Daithi where, despite the frustration of constantly killing Bob, they all had a proper laugh once they’d managed to save one.
If you preorder Surgeon Simulator 2 now you can get Closed Beta access from 7th-9th August AND some extra cosmetics.
You can pre-order the standard edition for £19.99 or the deluxe edition for £31.99 on Epic Games HERE.
The game will be fully released to everyone on the 27th August 2020 so you don’t have long to wait if you want it!
Will you be getting Surgeon Simulator 2 when it comes out? What about the pre-release? Let us know on our Twitter!
