We’ve covered before how to get the crew of the Duke off of the ghost ship alive. But what if you want them all dead? Either for completion’s sake or because they rub you up the wrong way, here’s how to get the ‘bad’ ending in Man of Medan

Man of Medan: How To Get The ‘Bad’ Ending

Conditions:

Getting the worst possible ending is actually a fair bit simpler than getting the best. You only need to ensure that four things happen.

1 – Conrad needs to remain part of the crew and not escape towards the beginning.

2 – Obtain enough clues to figure out the ship’s name. It’s the SS Ourang Medan, for those who don’t know.

3 – Towards the end, when you find the radio room, tell the Military the name of the ship.

4 – Make sure the distributor cap is destroyed during whichever climax you got.

If those criteria are met, your characters die. It doesn’t matter who’s left or what else happened, the Military will arrive and execute any survivors. It’s kind of a bummer, to be honest.
