Fall Guys Season 3: Your Guide To Surviving Every New Map
Fall Guys Season 3 is here and it brings with it 7 new winter-themed maps for you to compete in. Here are some tips for every new map in this season of Fall Guys.
Tundra Run: Play It Safe
There are two obstacles in Tundra Run that you should never attempt – the two boxing glove obstacles. The first is a halfpipe with fists that shoot out periodically from the sides. Right before this obstacle, there’s holes in the course that let you drop down and avoid this halfpipe altogether – use these! You’ll have to travel back up the hill and avoid the occasional boxing glove still, but there will be way less other players down here, allowing you to control yourself properly without their interference.
The second obstacle is the fists that come out of the ground towards the end, and is (in my opinion) the hardest obstacle in the course. ALWAYS take the ice path around this obstacle. It may look slower, but nothing hurts your chances of winning more than being punched into the abyss below the course.
Ski Fall: Use Your Dive
The objective of this map is to win points by jumping through hoops and into the target at the end. The smaller the hoop, the more points you win! At first, play it safe and go for the bigger hoops, but once you have a feel for the flow of the course, you’ll need to start going for the smaller rings. Proper use of the dive is a MUST for aiming for these smaller hoops, and with a bit of practice, your dive will shoot you to victory every time.
Freezy Peak: Be Patient
The most intimidating course in Season 3 can be made so much easier by slowing down.
Almost every obstacle on the climb to the top works on a cycle, meaning that it runs on a loop. The fists loop between not punching and punching, the fans swing left and right etc. Take your time, watch the obstacle, and go when you’re sure it’s safe. Slow and steady wins the race!
Snowy Scrap: Ignore The Enemy
Snowy Scrap is unfortunately a teamwork stage. I can’t help you find better teammates to play with, but hopefully this tip will make your time playing this one slightly better. Ignore the other teams. Don’t attempt to sabotage the other guys’ snowballs, just focus on your own and keep that snowball moving, preferably away from the other two. Good luck!
Pegwin Pursuit: Keep The Pressure On
Although this is another teamwork stage, it’s not quite as bad as Snowy Scrap. Grab the penguin, hold the penguin, win! With multiple people on a team, but only one penguin, that leaves other members with seemingly nothing to do. However, as well as grabbing the penguin, you can also grab other players with R2 (or Shift on PC) in order to disrupt their run and slow them down. If another member of your team has the penguin, always grab the enemy team members that are coming after them to get those extra points before the adorable little bird gets stolen.
Thin Ice: A Hop, A Skip, A Jump
Thin Ice is a survival game – the ice breaks when you stand on it, and if you fall, you’re out. Luckily, there’s a way to make the ice last longer – jumping! Spending more time in the air means that you spend less time breaking the precious ground that you need to stay alive, so jump everywhere instead of walking. Once the game is down to it’s last few people, you’ll probably all be separated onto your own little islands of ice. Jumping around will make sure that yours is the last one standing.
Roll Off: Don’t Pick Fights
Roll Off could be the hardest solo Fall Guys map ever, and still I always see people grabbing and pushing each other off the stage, always leading to everyone involved getting slimed. Stay out of fights! Look out for yourself and stay out of trouble for the best chance to survive the slime.
We hope these tips help you survive the frost in this new season of Fall Guys. Keep this advice in mind and get more crowns than ever!
