Step 1
Before you start, this exploit helps a lot with a few of the following options applied. Select Jess to play as, as she has infinite arrows at her disposal which will come in handy. Also, head to the perks menu and select Harvest Master and Journey Pack. If you don’t have these, don’t worry! But it certainly helps if you do. Harvest Master enables you to double your takings of animal skins, whilst Journey Pack allows you to carry more.
Step 2
Head to Faith’s Region on the map. In the Eastern area, there’s a tall mountain. About half-way down on the Western side you’ll find Taft Lookout Tower. Head there however you please. When you get there, head down the hill a little and you should find plenty of bison roaming around. Kill all of them and harvest their skins; remember, the Harvest Master perk will give you twice as many!
Step 3
Once all of the skins have been harvested, place down some bait. This will lure in any other local wildlife, which is usually cougars and bears. Kill and take their skins too. Once finished here, head back up the hill to the tower and go to the other side of the ridge. Here, you should find plenty of moose; you guessed it, kill them all and take their skins. Throw some more bait down to attract wolves and anything else nearby.
Step 4
Once you’ve either wiped out all the local wildlife or filled up your inventory, you can sell all these skins. Vendors are easy to find and willing to pay good money. You can make thousands per transaction! When you’re feeling ready to hunt again, head back to the mountain and hopefully nature will have replenished itself.
