How To Do The Sea of Thieves Easy Money Farming Exploit
Step 1
Firstly, this method can only be achieved once you’ve reached Legendary status. First you’re going to want to speak to Duke. Duke can be found in any tavern in the game. Talk to him and take a look at the voyages he has on offer.
Next, choose the Chest of Rage Legendary Voyage. It is a big advantage to take at least one other crew member to keep an eye on the pesky Chests of Rage and stop them from burning your boat into oblivion.
Step 2
Once you’ve initiated the mission, you’ll spawn at one of either Scorched Pass or Cursewater Shores. In these areas, there’ll be a few X-marks-the-spot locations. Find these and dig them up; as the title suggests, you’ll be looking for the Chest of Rage.
If you want to dig up all the others though, go for it. It’ll grant you more money when you come to sell these treasures! Once you obtain the Chest of Rage, be sure to store it safely on your ship. It has a tendency to release fire at any moment, so be warned!
Step 3
Now, cancel the mission and replay it. Chances are you’ll be spawned on the other of the two islands, but this won’t matter. Repeat the previous process of searching for treasure until you find the Chest of Rage again.
Again, repeat this process of locating, safely storing, and re-rolling as much as you like. Eventually, there will be no option to.
Step 4
Finally, when this happens and you can no longer apply for the voyage, head South to Morrow’s Peak Outpost. It’s nearby, so don’t worry about getting there. If anything, it makes it easier to repeat the mission! Once here, sell all the chest’s and other loot that you’ve discovered. If you feel up for travelling further to find a higher selling vendor, go for it!
The Chest of Rage is one of the most expensive and easy-to-obtain treasures on the map. The reward will also scale with your Emissary Grade from 3000 gold to 8750. The higher your Emissary Grade, the bigger the reward. Easy money!
