Genshin Impact Tips And Tricks For New Players
Genshin Impact has been out for a while now, so those of you who have been waiting to see how it goes before downloading it, here’s your sign to just get it! If you like any sort of RPG then this is for you, even if you don’t like anime! So, for all you late starters, here’s a few Genshin Impact tips and tricks that may make you realise how great of a game it is.
Me? Fall To My Death? Never…
Honestly, I wish I’d thought of this myself… This was actually a tip I happened upon on the internet but it’s the most obvious and helpful tip for this game! If you realise halfway through a climb that you’re not going to have enough stamina to make it to the top and there’s no ledges or spaces for you to stop and rest then do this. Jump backwards so you start falling but immediately hit the attack button! You’ll end up executing a downward strike and take absolutely no damage from the fall. It’s crazy simple and crazy necessary to know, right?!
Master Chef
Make new foods! When you come across a spot to cook and you have a decent amount of ingredients, try to make new foods when they’re available. When you first start cooking a new recipe you have to pass a certain number of proficiency tests and then you’ll be able to mass-cook items! If you can master as many recipes as possible, then you’ll be the most efficient adventurer there is! Also, always use the cooking pots. Every time you see one, check if you can make any meals, and if you can, make them! The last thing you want is to be short on meals when you need some extra health!!
Chatty NPCs
You can have mini conversations with all the NPCs and you should definitely do so! Some of them can give you items, tasks, or even just interesting conversations. There are some strategically placed NPCs that can offer you information to do with quests or the exposition for the world! It’s also handy because sometimes quests can be to do with a person you’ve spoken to and that makes it way more interesting and engaging!
Ad Astra Abyssoque
Check in with the Adventurer’s Guild Receptionist, Katheryne, every time you’re in town! Sometimes you’ll be out adventuring for so long that your Adventure Rank will go up and you’ll completely forget about it! Or you might forget about your daily quests. So just head over whenever you can just in case!
Hunter-gatherer
Just like the oldy-times, get gathering! You want to have as many ingredients available whenever you need to make meals. So everytime you see that little shine to say there’s some random mushroom growing in the odd corner of a village, grab it!! You certainly can’t have too many.
Take A Walk
At least for the first few hours of the game, try to walk everywhere! When walking places, you come across more ingredients, quests, NPCs, tasks, and enemies! Doing some of these will help you to increase your Adventure Rank and some of the others and just generally useful!
