Elden Ring Item Duplication Glitch (AFTER PATCH)

This is currently the only way to duplicate items in Elden Ring, and it can be done with any item that can be dropped.

Share swords, armour, runes, and any type of equipment with your friends without having to lose it yourself. This item duplication glitch is super simple and can be done at any point in the game!

Step 1

Summon your friend into your world.

Step 2

Have your friend drop you a tasty little item, they can do this by clicking ‘leave’ on an item, don’t click discard.

Step 3

Wait until you see the item in your world.

Step 4

Have your friend turn the game or console/PC off using the console or PC menu, don’t use quit game in the Elden Ring menu.

Step 5

Once your friend has left your world, pick the item up. If you do it before they’ve fully left your world, their game will register that you’ve picked the item up and remove it from their inventory completely. 

Step 6

Have your friend load back up, you’ll notice you both have the item in your inventory.
