Skate 4 Has Officially Been Announced!

Game developers were working like Santa overnight to bring several bouts of good news. Skate 4 has been officially announced, and Crash Bandicoot 4 has been leaked! Skate 4 is a game that’s been anticipated for a very long time and it is definitely coming now – no doubt about it.

It’s been over 10 years since the last Skate game, Skate 3 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but Electronic Arts have finally announced the official release of Skate 4.

The announcement came via EA Play Live in the early hours of the morning, along with a few other games. BUT WHO CARES ABOUT THOSE. Cuz Perry and Deran Chung, the creative directors for Skate, appeared on the live stream and were incredibly happy to confirm that “the Skate evolution continues”.

According to the directors, the game still has a long way to go so it’s fair to assume that the game won’t be released for quite some time yet. Though that part sucks, it does insinuate that the game may come out on the PlayStation 5…

Fans of the Skate series have been spamming EA’s Twitter account with #skate4 for years now, we can only presume that it’s due to the harassment of these fans the developers finally caved. In fact, during the live stream, Perry even credits the fans for “commenting the game into existence.” So bravo #skate4 spammers!
